Using Credits to Pay for Family Flights

I am reaching out because my father in law (wife’s dad) recently passed away and we (me and my family) need to travel from Houston to the Bay Area. I am a long time A lost customer and I have flight credits that I need to use to book my families flights. Is this something you can help me with.

If the credits came from Wanna Get Away + tickets, you can transfer them to another Rapid Rewards member for that person;s use.

If the credits came from Wanna Get Away tickets, they are non transferable -- but

you can use them to buy a WGA+ tiket and then cancel that ticket - thus creating a transferable flight credit that another person can use..
