SWA is going to continue to serve ISP customers for many years to come!!!! LGA is going to compliment NYC area customers who love SWA. Take a look at successful examples of same metro area airports SWA serves; (Los Angeles Area: BUR-LAX-ONT-SNA); (San Francisco Bay Area: OAK-SJC-SFO); (South Florida: FLL-PBI); (Boston Area: MHT-PVD). Although it's too early to speculate, I'm assuming that there will be a slow opening at LGA with most likely non-stops to BWI to play safe. Lets hope the approvals are plain formality for LGA.

As "FUN 3" in the Fun 10 skit, I have to say that this video doesn't do justice to the water fountain, errrrrr spitting.
This is definitely one of the most proud moments in my SWA career.
Thanks for posting Christi!

I am a Shriner and have received a letter from my NH Bektash Temple, that Southwest Airlines has recently donated three hundred seats to be used for childrens transportation to Shriner Hospitals. This care and burn reatment hopitals are at no cost what so evr the the children and or their families.
What a sweet deal between the Shriners and Southwest Air to provide this service. We are so thankful to SouthWest Airlines for their unselfish and greatly needed donation of these seats. You are great people and we luv you also.
Sincerely,

First of all, I have enjoyed flying Southwest for over 15 years and don't wish to find other modes of transportation.
Yesterday, I booked my vacation for November and to my dismay that I wasn't going to receive a ticketless itinenary mailed to me. I was told it was either to be printed by computer or faxed which I just lucky to have someone to assist me.
I understand the fuel charges are out of this world and the company needs to cut corners. I will be retiring the end of the year and I don't plan on purchasing a computer, printer and don't drive. I'm sure a lot of people are in this situation.
My suggestion is to continue sending out the ticketless mail and charge a small fee for the ones that request it.
I will appreciate a response from either of you. Thank you.

Cool ads!
Is it possible to post all of the SWA ads that ever existed on you tube? or keep creating fun videos like this that showcase some SWA historical ads? These were really fun to watch!

I am a resident of the Lehigh Valley Area in Pennsylvania who often travels. I fly with you quite often because you have non-stop services to many destinations in which I travel. However, Philadelphia International Airport is so fay away and Harrisburg is evn further. I live very close to the Lehigh Valley International Airport. I would hate to stop my companies and my own travel with your airline, especially since the Lehigh Valley International Airport has such a terible selection of airlines and flights. Also, now with the new casinos and other great businesses and attractions coming to the area, it is one of the best oppertunities you will ahve this year. I and the citizens of the Lehigh Valley would be extremely greateful to your company.
Thank You Very much For Your Time,
A.R. Celaschi

I no longer have a reason for Southwest to be the first place I check. No longer are your prices no longer the best, but now you no longer allow credits to be used by other family members. This was our main reason for flying Southwest and the convenience is no longer there. I was not warned about the changes and it is not clearly posted in bold anywhere. I was going to use a credit to fly my dad to his grandson's graduation and now he has to stay. I will consider driving more often than not and other airlines with more non-stops and better or same prices. No longer an incentive to put up with more, (including airplanes opening in midair) when there are other options out there and the main incentive and convenience is gone.

As a reservations agent at AirTran I can definitely attest to this. I am sure there are some elements that are different (we use SkySpeed, etc.). I think its great that we are the first contact that people have with the company and we are able to give them a good impression. I especially feel that I've done a job well done they tell me how kind I was or how everyone has been so courteous along the way. I've worked in different departments in reservations (A+ Rewards, Corporate, Government, Groups & Events, General Reservations, Cancelled Flights, etc.). Although the customers' needs from different departments differ, the quality of customer service that is delivered should always be the consistent. I know that Southwest is very customer driven as well and I only hope that I can continue to give wonderful customer service under the Southwest name after the aquisition. I would really be honored.

Adorable! Hey SWA - I'd buy an outfit like this if it was in Chihuahua size!
FOOD FOR THOUGHT: I SO wish I could bring my dog to Texas from California when I go but he's too little to go in cargo. How about a "dogs welcome" flight every now and then?

The Southwest Business Raleigh Durham to San Diego and then San Francisco to Raleigh Durham. It did nothing for us except to us on a few seconds before the cattle call for seats. Guess what we had the same selection of narrow seats as every one else And the leg from Phoenix to San Diego the prime seats were already gone. WE thought that there was something new in customer service at Southwest How silly of us. The same free drink coupons can be had for the "cheaper fares" Furthermore every time I ask about my reward miles I am told you need one more flight. By the way my wife uses a cane to walk so the next time we will buy the cheap flights and pre-board anyway as we have in the past. We will also look to find better acommondations on other airllines. We are willing to pay a little extra for something meaningful in return Crowded into tiny seats for midgets and being told you are "select" is rude and pretentious on Southwest's part Thanks for listening Pass this along to Colleen Barrett for she has lost touch with customers The Forbes article went to her head

The latest changes in airline security will not increase safety, but they will turn flying into mobile penitentiaries. I've visited someone in prison. I don't want to duplicate that experience when I travel. I'll take my chances with a suicidal idiot getting on my flight--the odds of which would be reduced by an intelligent approach to address real threats rather than humiliating hundreds of millions of innocent travelers.
I hope someone from SWA reads this post. Listen up: I will decrease my flying to the irreducible minimum unless we roll back all the idiocy that only turns law-abiding travelers into cattle. Dump the shoe searches and all the rest of the useless dragnet approach to violating our privacy. Put pressure on the federal government to focus security on travelers with a high probability of terrorist activity. Search them. Search their luggage. Don't let them buy cash tickets and travel without a passport (duh). Let the rest of us travel in peace and dignity.
