Actually, Southwest does offer a Military Fare, which -- similar to child and Infant fares -- are usually a discount off the "refundable" Anytime fare. Wanna Get Away is generally the lowest price, but sometimes, in cases of last-minute travel, these can be cheaper options. They are only available by contacting Southwest directly at 800-I-FLY-SWA.

Ok, my flight today has already departed (arrived actually) so I can't recheck on my phone. Glad it's working in a way that works for you. Apps will often access the phone's built-in functions for specific tasks (camera especially), which is why I suggested what you're seeing might be phone-specific. I'd still recommend the use of Google Pay to save boarding passes, since it includes automatic functions that make the process easier, and scanning less prone to delay. For example, when I arrived at the airport Google Pay automatically alerted me that my boarding pass was available for use. Yay technology! 😉

I don't work for Southwest. 😉 And this isn't actually a direct customer support channel -- it's a customer-to-customer forum. Your best bet would be to use the online fom on the website under "Contact Us." Here's a pic of a Southwest credit card from around that time. I know they've frequently used beaches in their marketing, but haven't ever seen a special edition of the credit card. Although I think that's a great idea -- I'd love to see different versions made available.

As suggested, check your RR account (if you have one, and if your access to the website isn't blocked as it is for many outside the US). I'd also recommend searching your emails -- including your trash folder -- for the confirmation message. Your credit card statement may include the ticket number, especially if it's a Southwest Rapid Rewards card, or it may not (many don't). Unfortunately, Southwest can no longer look up your confirmation number using a credit card. But they can help if you have the ticket number or (at a minimum) the flight information: Applying Travel Funds: In the event your travel plans change and you need to apply travel funds to future trips, please make note of your confirmation number. Customers calling Southwest to request a refund or to research travel funds for a specific ticket must provide their confirmation number, ticket number or flight information (date, origin and destination). Since you're outside the US, your best bet for a quick reply would be to reach out to Customer Relations via Twitter direct message. Good luck!

When I add an itinerary to my calendar on my desktop mac, the Southwest website creates an ics file and saves it to my desktop, which adds it to my Apple calendar automatically. You can change what app is associated with an ics file (see below) to Outlook, and it should automatically save it there. Good luck!

I can tell it's the updated app because it also lets me save to Google Pay, which was not the case in the past. On the right side of the line immediately above the google pay button is a camera button. Click on the camera button to save your boarding pass to your photo album. I just did it. Excellent, that's great news for those not wishing to use Google Pay to save their BPs! Can you tell us what version of the app you're using, and also what phone? I'm not seeing that on mine (App 5.4.50, Moto Z2). I'm wondering if it's a phone-specific feature. Be sure to turn your brightness to full and auto-rotate "off" before you board if do use the photo album method (this is done automatically if you use Google Pay).

With more and more people getting B positions (and sometimes even C), after paying the extra fee, the system is reaching the point where it will need another adjustment. The initial price has been raised twice now ($10, then $12.50, now $15), and one wonders what the ceiling is, when Upgraded Boarding at the gate, which guarantees an A position can be bought for as low as $30 (currently). Limiting EBCI to only A positions would seem a good idea, but I doubt that will happen, as it poses a technological challenge for Southwest's IT (and they're already pretty "challenged") and it's doubtful that Southwest would choose a solution that leaves money on the table. My best guess is another price increase, which will tide them over until they completely overhaul their boarding system (again), with the goal "fixing" pre-boarding, seat-saving & EBCI complaints, while increasing ancillary revenue.

Is there more than one person on your itinerary? That's the most common reason it's not available. Additionally: Passengers traveling on certain types of fares may not be eligible. Infants, unaccompanied minors, individuals traveling on Senior Fares that need to be age verified, nonrevenue passengers, those traveling on multi-passenger itineraries, and Military Fares are not eligible to receive a mobile boarding pass.

It's up to the OPs agent at the gate. They may allow you all to pre-board, but make you all sit at the rear of the plane. Or they may just have you each board at your assigned position. A representative should touch base with the agent before boarding starts. You will still need to check-in 24 hours prior to departure.

Southwest doesn't have a bag tracking system, so unfortunately they don't really know where your bags are until they show up somewhere. The good news is that as soon as that happens they'll be in contact with you, and should be able to arrange to get them delivered to you quickly. In most cases that happens in less than the 5 days they've suggested. FYI: I realize this isn't helpful for you right now, but for future reference: you should never put medications into checked luggage -- always put those in your carry-on.

Was this booked as one connecting flight on the SWA website? Are you sure it's not direct (land but no plane change)? 15 minutes is very, very tight for a connection, and as far as I know isn't something Southwest would sell. The 10 minute rule requires you to be at the gate at least 10 minutes prior to departure or your seats can be given away, and it's very unlikely that bags would make it to the new plane in 15 minutes. At 15 minutes prior to departure, the plane will be nearly (if not) completely loaded. If you have a A boarding pass and they're already on the Bs or Cs you can certainly cut to the front -- politely.

You had mentoned that you might want to let someone else use the funds. You're not going to be able to do that. As far as extending past the expiration date, my understanding is that you simpy call Suthwest and ask to do that. I don't think there is a qualfiction process. It'll cost you $100 off the value of the crediit. I've never done this so I'll defer to someone with more experience than I. To be clear, I believe the OP is talking about having Travel Funds (linked to a specific person) reissued as a voucher (usable by anyone) after they expire. Southwest doesn't ever extend funds past their expiration date -- this process is the only one available to recover a portion of your funds after expiration.

The only denials I know of were because the travel funds had included previously reissued funds from a voucher. I think the odds of you being specifically denied are fairly low, but do keep in mind that the fee can change at any time (it was previously $50, then $75 before becoming $100) and that the "policy" is un-published, so Southwest could decide to end it at any time. In either case, there's nothing you can do except wait. Or -- my recommendation -- try to use the funds before the expire. 😉

EarlyBird Check-In. On many flights, most of the A's (following BS and A-Listers) and often even the low B's will be filled with those who paid the extra fee. Last year, Southwest made $400 million on EBCI fees alone.

It's that way on all airlines. If it an't a supprt animal and it's small enough to go under seat, it goes in a cage with it's human. Actually, while documentation is required by carriers for Emotional Support Animals and Psychiatric Support Animals, Service Animals don't require any, in accordance with the Air Carrier Access Act. Personally, I never recline in coach (or on Southwest) unless there's no one behind me. Even then, I don't find the reclined position to be much more comfortable than non-reclined. I have my laptop crunched (luckily not permanently damaged -- yet) multiple times by people who slam their seatback back with no warning. As much as I hate the latest Southwest seats (slimline, in Max and some 800s) at least they've limited the range of recline. (One silver lining at least.) 😉

To be even more clear... 😉 (Although I don't think this applies to the OP, it may help others.) You can only request a refund of a "refundable" fare if you have not made any changes to the itinerary at any time. As soon as you make any changes to a "refundable" fare -- any change at all, upgrading Anytime to Business Select, for example -- you lose the ability to get a refund if you cancel at a later date. I know this is non-sensical, but that's how Southwest does it these days. Allegedly it's a "system limitation" that happened when they converted to the new booking system. Just remember: Never "change" a "refundable" fare -- always cancel, request a refund, and rebook.

Unfortunately, no. Tickets (and Travel Funds) are non-transferable. Southwest used to allow travel funds to be used by anyone, but they stopped that in 2011. The only other option you may have is to let the funds expire (one year from date you booked the original flight) and then contact Customer Relations. They may be able to reissue the funds as a Luv Voucher, usable by anyone (for flights only, no taxes or fees), and valid for 6 months from the date of issue. The fee for this is $100, which is deducted from the funds balance. Also, one small consideration: The funds now aren't actually "in your account," as Southwest doesn't do that. They are held under the original confirmation number for the flight(s) you cancelled. Make sure you don't lose that number -- you need it to apply the funds to a future booking Hope this helps!
