dont mean to piggyback off of other posters thread, but I just cancelled our trip and got voucher for future travel also. When checking on the voucher it asks for my name and confirmation #.Then it just shows the amount of my voucher.I had to put in my husbands name and the same confirmation # to get his.I booked the trip under my name and he was the other traveller. So when I go to redeem this for both of us for a future travel will I have to book two separate airfares in order to get both vouchers? Or when I rebook both of us together will it then ask for each ones voucher? Sorry I have never done this before

Have been reading lately about all these canellations. Some within 24 hrs. and some up to 5 days before flight. We are flying from Seatac to LV June 11, returning June 19.Wondering if the problems SW is having will be resolved by then?.Im assuming that all these cancellations are due to the Max8 being grounded? |Im starting be be concerned and I still have 2 months to go.I am not flying on the Max8 and I have already booked the round trip.If my flight is only cancelled to accomadate the grounding then I am hoping the fix is made quickly. It would surely ruin my vacation because my work would never let me change my vacation plans(they are that way) and I needed to book my dog sitter way in advance so that she does not take any other dogs for that time. That would really mess her up and go without the income she needs to live from dog sitting.Anybody have that magic answer?

very strange. Ive been checking prices for our return flight from Las Vegas to Seattle on July 15th. If I put in 1 passenger its $172 if I put in 2 passengers its $194.Whats with that? I have a credit to use because our flight to Lv came dwn so I got a$ 33.10 for each of us so Im going to have to use that credit at one time because Im the one who booked is that correct. One of the credits has my name and one has my husbands, but if I am correct I must book both of us together. If I was to book our return seperately could I use both credits on one ticket so I get the lower rate ?Im new to southwest actually this will be our first with this carrier

I have booked for our upcoming Vegas trip from Seattle to Las Vegas for July 8th, but didnt book return yet.It seems that already most of the flights are full or have stops.I dont like flying and just want to go non stop which is 2.5 hours. For about a month the only flight that is direct coming back is at 1130 pm.I guess people call it the 'red eye?' It was $145 now its $127.Not sure if I should wait to see if a better flight time prices come down as there is 1 or 2 left or go ahead a book now. That is an ungodly hour but the price is good.Sorry to be so long but have never flown SW and never flown from SeaTac..Always Alaska Air from Bellingham but july has no direct flights so had to change courses this year

I just modified my flight because I got a lower price. It says I have a credit.I get that part, and will be booking for my return when a good price comes up.Thing is, everywhere Im reading is that you have to put in cofirmation # of cancelled flight but mine is the same.Is it because I modified and everything about the flight is the same except for the price?

Please are you able to explain how I rebook ?I now see that the flight Ive booked has gone down $33.I booked a wanna get away with early bird for both myself and husband. The price went down for the same flight time .I have never done this before.Do I need to cancel then rebook ? I dont want to do this because our go to is not southwest so probably cant use the credit. Is there a modify button? Will I lose the $15 each that I paid for early bird?

so what you are saying is that people will pay the fee for early bird seating for one of them and hold for the other instead of paying for preboarding? So I could have only paid for one of us and held a seat for my husband and saved the $15 ? Wow. should have done it NOT

just after I posted this i checked again and price had gone up from $94 to $122.We only fly once a year and to Vegas but have always used Alaska Air.So swa would be our first time. There wouldnt be any reason to get a voucher if the price goes down because we wouldnt use it.Its too bad

sorry to ask but have never booked one way.Nor have I booked swa before.I have been checking prices and they are changing all the time.So I was thinking to book one way at a good price, then book return when the price changes.Right now one way $94 but return $220.earlier in the month return was under $400 for 2 of us.Is it wise to just go ahead and book the first leg,to lock it in.Thank you
