Hello, I'm a student from Texas and I've just applied for the Maintenance and Aircraft Performance Engineering Internship. Whom can I contact for my application status? What does it mean, if it says "Closed Complete"? Thank you. Justin FAQs: Application/Interview process templates via customwritingz

@dlohr you can get in touch with Southwest to request a refund -- click "Contact Us" at the bottom of the forum pages for options, Twitter is probably the fastest way to get a response.

@ethanscott wrote: Thanks. Also does this apply to every airliner out there? Seat guru does have customized plans for each airline who have customized their seating arrangements differently. It's a bigger deal on the other airlines since you are reserving a specific seat and you want to know which ones don't recline for instance.

Might be some kind of technical issue or maintenance issue. It usually works, which seat were you in?

Since it is an interview, any sane person would obviously wear formals. I would suggest that you wear a Two-Piece Suit and nice tie to go along with it. Wear a black suit if you can since that is the most formal of all. Pair it with nice shoes which are again black. It is said that the first subconciously notices the feet of a person to determine the first impression and then considers whatever you speak, so it is important that your shoes looks neat and clean. Then to accessories, you shouldn't sport a piercing or a necklace or tag or anything. I have seen a lot of people wearing men's watches which looks formal, just don't choose one which is extremely eye catching. It needs to be mellow and subtle for the lack of a better word. A patterned tie is always the way to go since they are in trend right now. I don't even know if you can get a plain tiea anymore. I hope I was of some help. Cheers! Hope you get the job.

@PerceptiveTrvlr wrote: Also, don't forget, if you spot a lower fare, you can always take advantage of it. Just give Southwest a call at 1-800-I-FLY-SWA and let them know you found a lower fare. Southwest's friendly customer service agents will gladly exchange your ticket and credit you back the difference in a "Travel Funds" voucher for use towards another ticket within 12 months of the date of exchange. No. Just to correct some wrong information, as this is frequently misunderstood: Travel Funds are valid for 12 months from the original date of purchase (not the date of exchange). Also, Travel Funds and Vouchers are two completely different things, and each has their own specific terms and limitations. For example: Travel Funds may be used toward air travel, including taxes and fees, for the originally named passenger only. Vouchers may be used for air travel only -- not any taxes and fees -- but are transferrable and may be used by anyone. As stated earlier, when you apply Travel Funds to a new booking, that new booking takes on the expiration date of the travel funds -- meaning it will expire in less than a year. And never, ever change a "refundable" fare (Business Select, Anytime, Senior, Military, Infant, etc.) as that will cause you to lose the ability to receive a refund (due to an absurd, hopefully temporary Southwest system limitation). Always cancel and rebook these fares.

@Cobigdawgs wrote: Hi all, I'm curious about long it would typically take for career advancement opportunities, as-in if you started in one position to get your foot in the door, but you would like to work/learn other areas as well?? I've always been a person that likes to learn multiple areas, so I may be of assistance to anyone and everyone. Maybe you can talk to your HR department or a super senior of your who is atleast 3 levels above you and discuss the ethics you need to follow or maintain in order to advance in the field. Ideally this would be the best way since they would have the best insights about how to go about this scenario.
