The memo I am referring to had a reddish/pinkish background. It was full page. I was on my account on March 13th. I was told it went out to 3000 customers. I was also told that I was not able to have a copy sent to me. I asked why. He, Dallas Headquarters rep, told me that I could not have it.

I have been told since I was fully refunded .... I do not get anything! But that still does not get me my cruise money back! AND I STILL NEED A COPY OF THE EMAIL THAT WAS SENT OUT ON MARCH 15TH!

Believe me....I know your frustration! Not only are we asking Southwest the following questions....which remain NO answers! 1) Why can't you send me a copy of the full page memo you said you sent out to certain accounts (MINE) and 3000 customers that were affected by the grounding? 2) Why did you choose my plane for another destination? And if you did .... why wouldn't you find me another plane so I could go on my cruise? 3) Why did you wait until 2 days before my plane departed to inform me of the cancellation of my flight? 4) Why did you send me a letter telling my flight was cancelled due to mechanical failure BUT it was really rescheduled for another destination? 5) Why did you send me another letter 10 days later telling me it was maintenance? 6) While 30+ countries were grounding their planes....why weren't you working on rescheduling your flights to accomodate ALL your customers? 7) Why would you not help someone to find another flight so she wouldn't miss her cruise? Sidenote-Cruise insurance will only refund for weather related issues of a plane! HEY! MAYBE IN ANOTHER 10 DAYS I MIGHT GET A DIFFERENT LETTER TELLING ME MY FLIGHT WAS CANCELLED DUE TO WEATHER RELATED ISSUES!

Try getting notice 2 days in advance AND missing a 7 day cruise BECAUSE THEY SWITCHED MY PLANE TO ANOTHER DESTINATION....BUT!!!!! I was sent a letter informing me it was mechanical failure on MARCH 15! BUT!!!!! MARCH 26 I received a letter informing me it was maintenance!!!!! AND the insurance I purchased will only cover weather related plane issues! AND WHEN ALL THIS STARTED I POSTED A BLOG ON THIS SITE CONCERNING THE MEMO THAT WAS ON MY SOUTHWEST ACCOUNT ON THE DAY OF THE GROUNDING OF THE PLANES. IT IS NOT THERE ANYMORE AND I WAS TOLD BY HEADQUARTERS THAT THEY CANNOT SEND ME A COPY OF IT. HOLD ON....IT GETS BETTER! My blog asked if anyone had saved a copy of that memo...it was a full page reddish pink background memo....MY BLOG WAS NEVER POSTED!!!!!

I also had a similar situation which I posted 2 days ago. It was not posted even though I received an email that congratulated me on my 1st posting. Explain that? My connecting flight was canceled on Friday, 15th at 12:07pm. to San Juan. This flight was taking me to my 7-day Carribbean Cruise. Numerous calls were made as we were looking on the internet for different flights to get us to San Juan by 7pm Sunday. This would be a very long response if I told you all that we did and all that we went through to just get to San Juan by Sunday. Remember! It is noon on Friday and our 1st leg of our trip leaves at 8:55 am on Sunday! We called, searched every available airline on the internet, cried, and stayed up all night trying to see if someone had cancelled their flight for us to grab! HERE IS THE KICKER! THE REASON GIVEN TO ME VERBALLY AND WRITTEN WAS MECHANICAL FAILURE. BUT THE REAL REASON WHICH WAS FINALLY STATED TO ME WAS IT WAS NEEDED MORE SOMEWHERE ELSE! MY PLANE WAS NOT A MAX737 BUT IT WAS NEEDED FOR FLIGHTS THAT WERE AFFECTED BY THE MAX737 SITUATION! And now I am left to fight the Cruise Insurance to get a full refund. Even though weather related plane issues is the only thing they cover! So I asked them-"THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES ALONG WITH 49 OTHER COUNTRIES HAVE GROUNDED ALL MAX737s! SO YOU ARE TELLING ME MY CRUISE WILL NOT BE COVERED?" And their answer was "yes". I also have flown for many many many years on Southwest and always said..."only way to fly is on Southwest!" Very disappointed and very angry right now!
