I haven't checked luggage in over 25 years. After the second time my luggage did not arrive, once again with very specific clothing required, a suit for an international presentation & a banquet down the first time, that was the very last time I ever checked luggage.   I do love your thinking. good idea in sending it in but I usually do once a month anyways.   Extra tier I am referring to above companion pass or something seperate for business travelers.   If you reach companion you have already qualified and gotten A-list and preferred status and perks.   The different or extra tier for business travelers is we do it flying, know the drills, aren;t flying just because of a cheap wanna getaway fare and usually help the FA and GA fairly often. ...
