Hi @MsAshli, I have applied to SWA in the past and have not had any issues with respect to getting emails from them, I use Gmail, if that helps/matters. I just checked and the information about searching for agents.icims.com seems to be a little outdated - I have received a few mails from them, but in the past. The recent applications have emails coming in from talent.icims.com so you can try searching for that. The only suggestion I can think of beyond that is to login and check the accuracy of the email provided on the profile. Assuming you use that very email to login, I doubt it would be wrong. That said, maybe not receiving the confirmation email on your applicaition submission is not a big deal (?) because you are able to see the submitted applicaiton and status on the portal. Just my two cents.

Congratulations @Jtlarson99! Was there an original timeframe given to you for the background check and drug testing to be completed by? If so, how far along that are you now? If not, I feel it would not be a bad idea to just politely check in with your coordinator about how it is moving along and whether there are any more actions to be completed from your end since it has been 3 weeks as you say. I wouldn't worry about it too much though, as they say, no news is good news. And these processes are sometimes time consuming, so it is best to be patient.

Hi @zkunni, I think you might have missed out on the aaplication for the summer 2020 internship. I believe applications closed on the 15th of October, which is why you might not see the job posting active on the Southwest careers website. @aj028 Hello, I was wondering if you hear back/what your overall timeline of the application process was like. I have also applied to Southwest and it has been a while since I have heard back from them, so I was wondering what your experience was like. Thank you and good luck with your process!

Hi @ckeola, yes you will get an email informing you of the next steps (such as a phone interview/in-person interview etc etc) and how to proceed with those. You will also see an update in your application portal. This is also true in case they decide not to move forward with your application, you will get an email and portal update informing you of the same. Good luck!

Thank you for your reply @Passenger1C! I fully understand what you are saying and respect it from the organization's point of view. I guess my main issue here is not being given a time frame of when to expect what to happen, even if it a rough estimate. So now I don't even know at what point I should be expecting any sort of update. Anyway, as you said, patience is the way to go ahead for me now and lets see what happens. Thanks again!

Hi! I had applied to a position at Southwest more than a month ago and in the few days after I applied I got invited to a telephonic interview with a recruiter. I thought it went well and I was told they would get back to me in a certain time frame. When they did not get back to me in that time frame, I checked in with my coordinator and was told that they were interested in moving me to the next step in the process of an onsite interview, but they were working on scheduling it and would get back to me about it. It has been almost 3+ weeks since that and I have checked in a few times since but I still seem to be no closer to the interview itself despite a few missed deadlines. My application portal shows "In Progress" but it has been such since a month. Has anyone else experienced something like this/is this how the process normally proceeds and I am expecting it to be faster? I don't know what else to do but wait as this opportunity is a big deal for me.
