No you cannot change your reservation to whatever date/itinerary you like and keep your early bird. We had early bird to boston and it would not let me change to another city later on. I even called customer service who said "the catch" is you must keep the same from/to cities. Really unfair.

@ckokinda The extension for my travel funds has not been processed either. I talked with the Twitter team at SW, and the were not sure when it would be processed but assured me it would. Stay tuned!

I am wondering the same thing. It does say on the website that it will take time for the funds expiration dates to be changed in the system, but I want to travel using those funds later this summer. Hopefully they are working through the updates now. This is the quote from the COVID info page on the SW website: "It will take several weeks to implement the expiration extension of unused funds. Once the extension is complete, more information will be provided on how Customers can access and apply their travel funds."

Southwest says their technology team is still working on the changes needed for the updated expiration dates. Hopefully soon.

KSBRG, I have no idea what your above response about peer to peer means however I have sat online with customer service for hours and they are not helpful and I have NO response to 2 customer service forms from 3 days ago. Thank you to Blake who asked me where it said I had to use the same route so I responded with the answer . Don't want to take up anymore of your time so you can go around and tell others your "peer to peer" response.
