Not an employee for Southwest, but a hopeful candidate, trying to help others along the way. All content is taken from the Southwest Airlines webpage, and although I know things can change from day to day, I wanted to be sure I mentioned it was current information as of today.

I've created some resources for those that need to study SWA Airport Codes.
The study stack is a set of flashcards for all 121 airports that Southwest services as of today.
You can scroll down for other games and puzzles too.
I personally like the matching game.
The Google Sheet is a printable spreadsheet of the codes.

That's a really good question for a recruiter. I would suggest contacting one of the recruiters that have been in communication with you for scheduling your virtual interview or possibly the recruiter that sent the email CJO. If they don't have an answer they could direct you to who does.

Depending on the position itself, the timeframe of initial contact varies. As long as the status says something other than "candidate withdrew or "closed complete" your application should still be in progress.

I had a similar issue.
I unsubscribed, waited a few days, and then signed up again and was greeted with an email containing a new link.

Or, you could just be considerate of others.
If you're flying alone, does it really matter where you sit anyway?
I, as a frequent solo traveler - pre-plan, set my alarm, download my boarding pass to my phone, and try to travel with a carry-on only - so I can get in, out, and on my way as quickly as possible. I'll admit that I'm not the most patient traveler.
I also acknowledge that although I am very used to the airport environment, that may not be the case for some families with small kids, adults that have never flown before, or possibly those that haven't had the easiest time getting to where they are. Have you ever thought about how many passengers are on the same flight that arent traveling for business or some kind of celebration or vacation? Possibly traveling to see a loved one for the last time or put a loved one in their final resting place?
It doesn't cost an extra fee to just be kind to one another.
With that said, I will leave you with your own advice; "no one is entitled to extra luxury. If you want that option, book with a different airline."
Safe travels and be kind 🙂

The job opened on June 20th and closed the same day. If you are subscribed to job alerts, it would not have sent you a notification, being that it closed within hours of opening.
You would have had to submit an application along with your resume while the job was still open. If this is the case and you haven't had any communication yet, don't get discouraged. They received over 27,000 applicants and the last I'd seen they had only gone through about 10,000 of them.

@bpandj The last career connections webinar mentioned they had only gotten through a little less than half of the applications. Don't get discouraged just yet.
@desmondrl congrats on the CJO! With the number of applicants they have been processing, I wouldn't be surprised if it takes a bit to communicate on the next steps.

Former TSA here.
Those bags are absolutely the WORST bags to use as check-in bags. This is because the conveyor lines have doors that swing back and forth to sort bags. When these guys get caught by one of the doors, the door doesn't stop and will crush it, and a lot of times they get stuck causing a complete shut down of that part of the conveyor line.
These types of bags are perfect for loading on the top of your vehicle for a road trip because they're mostly weather resistant. They're also perfect as smaller carry-ons. But due to their bulky and rigid edges, they tend to cause problems for the customer and the TSA agents that have to dislodge your bag from the lines.
Although they can be great because they're durable and they tend to protect your shampoos and soaps from being crushed, you risk having something like this happen. To add to it, they're not inexpensive either.
As far as the cameras go, most airport employees don't have access to footage because they are monitored by surveillance and will only be used for major issues related to injury, death, dismemberment, and imminent safety violations.
I empathize with your frustrations and hope that you get it sorted out but please don't assume that an airline employee was the cause of the issue without reasonable suspicion.

I had a similar issue with not being able to upload my resume. I was still invited to do a phone interview and I mentioned it during the interview. The recruiter sent me an email with instructions to upload it to my account. If your application status is still in progress, I'd say that's a plus and you're still in queue for review.

I had my phone interview today and I mentioned to the recruiter I had not yet been able to upload my resume. After a successful phone interview, they sent me an email with a link to upload my resume so that it will be available for the next steps.
If your application status still says in progress, I would say that's a plus! Hang in there and in the meantime, be well and good luck to you!

@skyrick I had to restart the application several times and I knew the website had to have been flooded with users. I was finally able to get my application in at around 10:45am MST.
If I can offer some advice based on my own research, study the airport codes until you're dreaming about them. I created a StudyStack with the most current airports Southwest flies to.
Here's the link to that.
If you scroll down on that flashcard page, you'll find other games and such that you can try. Some work well - like the matching one and it keeps me from getting bored of the repetitiveness. Also, you can toggle the way the card is presented to you by using the "options" button on the top right and selecting the check box that says "show answer first".
In addition, if you aren't already familiar with the conversion of standard time and military time, brush up on that. From what I've read, this is tested during the first week of training.

I found this email on the careers page and sent a message. swapeople@wnco.com
I never received a response from them but a few days later, I did get an update from the Talent Acquisition Team explaining there had been an issue and my application was put back into review status.
There are also a few people within the discussion board, that are employees, that have offered their help. You'd have to go through some older threads from a couple of weeks ago to find them.

NEW UPDATE:
I was able to reach someone on here that was able to check the status of my application and was told,
"In reviewing, it appears that you indicated you weren't a current resident of one of the required states for this Customer Support & Services Representative position. This is what disqualified you from the role, and we regret any confusion or difficulties while submitting your application."
I am a resident of one of the required states so I knew it had to be related to the technical issues a lot of us experienced while applying. I was disappointed but figured I would wait until the next time around and apply again.
To my surprise, I received this message today!

I've seen several posts where people received a "didn't meet minimum requirements" email.
I received this email and am confident I meet the minimum requirements. I am sure that with the technical issues that took place, some of the information I provided did not process correctly. I believe this because when I was given the preview page, my answers were not as I submitted them, so I had to go back and correct them.
If this is the case, are we just out of luck and have to wait for it to inevitably open again, or is there a way we can correct this?

I too received the "didn't meet minimum requirements" email. I emailed the Southwest Airlines People Department, along with some other SWA recruiters I've been in communication with for past positions, in hopes that someone could help me or at least point me to someone that can. No response from anything yet. I understand they received hundreds - if not thousands of applications so I'm just going to wait it out at this point and give them time to sort it.

@TPArampgirl If I'm reading the job description correctly you can re-apply right away.
This is assuming they didn't get any type of interview before receiving an email.
It states: "one year from the date of your last interview"
@ddmshep considering you didn't have a chance to apply before it was removed from the website, you should be able to apply if it re-opens.
