When that happens, you can always log in to your Southwest account
Go to my trips, click on the trip in question, and click on resend receipt. If there was a points adjustment, it will be seen there.

I always get e-mail confirmations when I book my own flights on Southwest.com. Did you book your flight yourself, or did your agent? It sounds like an agent booked it for you (?) and then tried to forward the e-mail confirmation to you (??). That doesn't sound like a Southwest problem - make sure your agent has your correct e-mail address and/or check your junk/spam folders.

I'd encourage you to confirm your email settings in your SW account. My Account > Profile > Communications.
You should also check your SPAM, of course -- which you prob have. Additionally, you can add southwestairlines@ifly.southwest.com to your safe senders list. This is the email from which confirmations come.
