TSA precheck question

I just applied for TSA precheck and have my appointment in 3 weeks. I have a few flights booked over the next 6 months and was wondering once approved for precheck how do I prove it at security?

After you get your TSA known traveler number, enter it into  my account (for Southwest, and whatever profiles you have with other airlines. Even though you booked flights first, the PRE designation will appear on boarding passes printed after you enter the known traveler number.

Just looked at my profile and don't see where TSA info would be entered.

Very confused.  We have a flight in September and just got our TSA precheck #.  I added our numbers to each of our profiles and everything seems to have worked.  Since I am a detail freak, I want to double check our flight information.  Pulled up our flights and at the bottom of the page it says under "Known Traveler Number"  On File.  Can't click on it to actually verify that the number is correct.  Tried looking all over SW's pages, including our account page but we can not see our TSA pre check know traveler number to verify they are correct.  So, do I have to call southwest to make sure everything is up to par?
