I was on 2 flights for spring break and was very disappointed w/ the wifi coverage. It was a waste of money. I love Southwest, but if you are going to pay $8 it should work. I travelled on March 12 and March 20. Original destination was Kansas City to Fort Lauderdale.

Southwest WiFi coverage can be spotty.
If you paid for it and are unhappy, you can contact customer to request a refund.

Looking out the window in your sunglasses at lovely clouds and landscapes is free and better for the airplane's aerodynamics as the wifi pod is a bump.
