Hello Southwest! I have some concerns regarding whether individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing can work as flight attendants for all airlines. I am planning to apply to Southwest Airline if available for position, but I'm worried that my application might be rejected due to my hearing impairment. However, after researching the FAA policy, I found that there is nothing in the Federal Air Regulations that prohibits a flight attendant from being hard of hearing. Let me know, and thank you!
