@Seafarer12 wrote: Well then you should make an option for people who can’t eat wheat. I just flew on a flight and was disappointed to get a bag of crackers and a bag of pretzels. Either that or do away with snacks all together. I will bring my own nuts from now on. Cats set off my asthma but I carry an inhaler and I am not saying southwest should stop letting cats in the cabin. Maybe I should. There was some mention before that an additional offering would be in the works. On longer flights I enjoy the frito's to avoid gluten, but it is tough on the short flights with only pretzels offered.

@roxanmcgill your enthusiasm is a great way to show interest in a new career, however you might want to put more effort into showcasing your interest and talents. I was a recruiter for a different Company and like SWA, reviewed thousands of applicants on a daily basis. My biggest suggestion is not to make the employer do all the work. Spell it out for them! What position are you looking for? What experience and education do you have that will make you successful in the position? Have you searched SWA’s career site and created a dashboard? Are you proactive? All great ways to professionally show your interest. Good luck on fulfilling your career aspirations!

@iandrewnub,
I just want to echo @Passenger1C and say that every applicant's journey is her/her own. The process can take anywhere from a couple weeks to several months. depending on a variety of factors. We are thrilled that you want to be a part of the SWAFamily, and wish you the best of luck in the process!

@desnda93, @DancingDavidE has the best advice. Consolidate two things into one, and then you will have the one carry item and the one personal item. Once on the plane, you can quickly remove your purse from your bag before you put it in the overhead bin. Ironically, you have to get on with two but can exit with three, so as long as you can combine down to two before getting on, you should not have a problem. It might be good to check the measurements of your makeup bag to ensure that it will count as a personal item. I hope that is helpful. Keep in mind that if you have a connection, you will have to “re-consolidate” before boarding the second plane. Fortunately, it is unlikely that you will have to go through security screening again, but not a guarantee because it depends upon the airport and flights. Good travels!

@anna123 Sorry to hear about your bad experience with Bill in DEN. Also sorry to hear about the dammaged items. I would recommend you reach out to customer relations at 855-234-4654 so they can look in to your situation further. You can also send a message though the website listed on your dammaged bag report and someone from the central baggage office can respond. Hope the rest of the trip was great! Blake

@RobertGary1 wrote: I hope that SWA doesn't miss the bigger issue here. Its not about rebooking this one person. Its the repeated problem that SWA's system doesn't email you immidately when this type of thing happens. When you book you get flooded with emails to rent cars, etc but if a flight or reservation is cancelled by SWA its total silence. This is a computer bug and needs to be addressed as such. -Robert Actully, Robert, Southwest does send an e-mail to the address tied to the reservtion the second a reservation is made, changed or cancelled. I have literally hundreds of examples in my e-mail folders.
