Hey, @Tatanina!
Thanks so much for reaching out & for your interest in joining the Customer Support & Services (CS&S) Team! I took a closer look, and it looks like we sent you an email on June 30 (around 11:15am) from alerts@recruit.southwestair.com with an update.
To recap that email, our Team has completed interviewing and filling the available spots for our upcoming training classes. We received so much interest and a high volume of applications, and, since we reviewed applications in the order received, we simply weren't able to review all applications this time around. We know this isn't the news you wanted to hear, but don't worry our Team will reach out with information on potential interview dates in the future!

Good morning, @Sola35!
Congratulations on your offer to join the Southwest Family! We're so excited to have you as a Supervisor Aircraft Maintenance!
After you sign your CJO and complete the employment screening steps, our Recruiting and Coordinating Teams work with several internal Teams to get you in a onboarding class, work with your local Leaders to assist with onboarding, get you set up as an Employee in our systems, and much more. There are lots of moving parts, but we want to get you started in Denver ASAP, too!
While I don't have a specific date or timeline to share just yet, I wouldn't anticipate too much longer to hear back with your start date. I'll dig around on our side to see if we can get you an update. I'll ping you here if I hear anything before you do! 😀

Thank you for reaching out, @MiaKalama
We are sorry to learn of your disappointment as a new hire, particularly if you felt that you or your family were not supported. Southwest has a long history of welcoming People of all backgrounds and family status to a career at Southwest Airlines. By fostering a Culture that embraces and utilizes our Diversity, we create competitive, yet equitable, advantages in teamwork and innovation that contribute to our overall success.
Southwest’s Purpose is to connect People to what’s important in their lives through friendly, reliable, and low-cost air travel. Our People are key to Southwest being on time and ready to serve our Customers. During the interview and onboarding processes, we strive to provide a realistic preview of what each job entails. Depending on the job and if it follows contract work rules, the job may include being away from loved ones, working assigned shifts based on seniority, the potential for overtime, and a New Hire probationary period that applies to everyone regardless of background. We’re sorry to hear if any of these requirements caused difficulties for you. As in many workplaces, as our Employees gain in seniority or are able to transfer to different locations for example, their schedule flexibility and preferences increase.
As we often share with Candidates, working at Southwest is not for the faint of Heart! The work can be challenging, but also rewarding in meeting a Purpose larger than ourselves.

Sorry for the confusion there!
I took a look, and, because your application did not meet the initial qualification requirements, your application was removed from the process. So, an email with the link to create/login to your Candidate Home wasn't provided, but an email with the update of your application being removed from the process was sent instead.

Hi there, @Irodriquez1!
Thanks so much for reaching out and for your application!
If you revisit the confirmation email you received when applying, there should be a link to create a Candidate Profile. Open that link, and provide your login information. That should associate your new application with your pre-existing Candidate Profile!

Hi there, @Tung1962!
Our Flight Attendant position isn't currently open for applications. We post that position 1-2 times a year, and we review all Candidates in the order received. In January, we posted the position, and it received several thousand applications. We're still working through those applications at this time! In the meantime, I would recommend signing up for our Talent Community here: https://careers.southwestair.com/jointalentcommunity?applyType=JTC, and be sure you select "Flight Attendants & Inflight Operations" for the Area of interest option! We typically send out notice via email around the time that position is going to post!

Hey, @Cmckinney!
Thanks so much for your interest in a career with Heart!
I took a quick look, and it doesn't look like we currently have any positions posted for the Los Angeles / Southern California area right now. We do regularly hire for the stations we serve in that area - including Los Angeles (LAX), Burbank (BUR), Ontario (ONT), Long Beach (LGB), Orange County/Santa Ana (SNA), and Santa Barbara (SBA). I would keep an eye on our careers site for new postings, as we post new positions throughout the Company almost daily. You can also set up job alerts to receive an email when new positions post!
We'd love to meet you and get to know your interest in joining Southwest soon. Wishing you the best!

Hi there, @Brettlanders123!
Thanks so much for reaching out! Once you apply for a position and then withdraw your application, there's not a way to apply with the same information again. That said, if you have a different email address, you should be able to apply with that different email!
Let me know if that works!

Hey there, @Gabrielle2501!
Thank you so much for reaching out! And for your interest in joining our Houston Family!
I took a quick look, and there was a *ton* of interest in both of these postings. That helps explain why the process is taking longer than you (or we) would hope - so sorry for the wait there!
The Ramp Agent position is well underway, and our Team has been reviewing applications and meeting Candidates in the order they applied. Since you did apply later in the process, they haven't gotten to your application just yet. Fingers crossed they'll be able to meet you and get to know your interest in the role!
For the Customer Service Agent, the application review for that position looks to be just starting. The Team will also review applications in the order received in order to meet with Candidates, and I've got my fingers crossed that you'll land an interview and get to meet with the Team!
Keep an eye on your email inbox (and any junk/spam folders - just in case) for an update as soon as one is available. Thanks for checking in on these applications! Rooting for you - hang in there!

Hey there, @awesomeal!
So happy to have you as part of the Southwest Family!
In Dallas, you'll get an overview of lots of things - from Benefits, to Culture, to more training for your role. This is a great time to get to know the folks in your training class too - lots of bonding time in and outside of the classroom!
There are tests in each of our training classes. These will be on the training information you've covered in the classroom and from your station. While they may require studying and be a bit challenging, they would focus on the information you'll use in your everyday role! Your Instructors are there to help, and they'll guide you through the process!
You've totally got this!

Hey, @Lazuras1993
So sorry to hear that your application didn't work out as hoped for this time around. That LAX Ramp Agent position (R-2023-29676) received over 600 applications, and that makes for a competitive interview process. Of course, we aren't always able to get to all applications when we receive that many, but I'm so glad our Team was able to meet you and get to know you & your interest a bit better! Thanks so much for coming out to meet some of the Team and spend some time with us.
There are many more opportunities to join us in the Los Angeles area and beyond (and many positions on the horizon, too!), and we'd love for you to continue considering us as a prospective employer! It sounds like you've got the passion for Southwest and our operation, and I'm certainly rooting for you to land a career with Heart!

Hey there, @smykollipara!
Thanks for tagging me! And thanks for your continued interest in joining the Southwest Family!
After looking at the Sr Technology Analyst (R-2023-31740) position you applied to, I do see that opportunity received quite a bit of interest - with nearly 500 applications. This is why my number one recommendation is to always submit your application as early as possible - that gets you reviewed earlier in the process.
Our Teams are reviewing those applications in the order received, and they're working to schedule interviews with qualified Candidates. With so many applications and only so little time, I'm hopeful our Recruiting Team will be able to meet you & get to know you and your interest a bit better! Thanks for your patience in the process.
Best of luck!

Happy Monday! So sorry for the delay in getting back to you - I've been out of office for a bit!
That SNA Customer Service Agent position (R-2023-28851) did receive quite a bit of interest & applications - a few hundred, in fact! Of course, this does make for a competitive process. Our Team has been reviewing applications in the order received, and they're actively inviting qualified Candidates to interview and learn more about their interest in the position. As they continue to work their way through the application list, I'm hopeful they'll be able to meet you & get to know you a bit better. Great questions, @Kriches13 !
Only time in a fixed-wing aircraft is counted - this specifically excludes simulator, helicopter, WSO, RIO, FE, NAV, EWO, and UAV.
Current, approximate costs for the Cadet Pathway - which are subject to change:
Participants can reach Southwest Airlines in approximately four years while gaining competitive compensation from our flight partners, exceptional training, dedicated mentorship, quality flight time, and the skills needed to take flight as a Southwest Airlines First Officer.
CAE – $112,515
SkyWarrior – $93,000
US Aviation – $99,900
The Southwest Airlines Credit Union (SWACU) is available to provide financing at all locations. In addition to flight training costs, optional housing allowance and living stipend are available in the loan options.
Participants start to earn an income in the program once they've completed training and begin employment as a Flight Instructor!

Hi there, @Kriches13!
Thank you so much for your interest in our Destination 225° Program! And thank you for your service in the National Guard! The Destination 225° Program has four pathways: Cadet, University, Military, and Employee. The right pathway for you is dependent on the experience you already have in school and within the military.
To participate in the university pathway, you must:
Be able to obtain an FAA First-Class Medical Certificate
Have successfully completed your Private Pilots License check ride
Be enrolled in a professional flight degree program under the school of aviation/aeronautics at a university partner, or be a current or former Southwest Airlines Campus Reach Intern
Have completed your freshman year and have your Private Pilots License at the university partner
Have a current and complete log book
Have or be able to obtain a valid passport with the ability to travel in and out of the U.S.
Have a high school diploma or equivalency
Possess a valid driver’s license
Be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without the need for company sponsorship of an employment-based visa now or in the future
Be at least 18 years of age at the time of application
Demonstrate proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English
Maintain any physical requirements necessary to complete new and ongoing Pilot training throughout the duration of the Destination 225° program
Be able to pass the prescreening requirements needed for employment at Southwest Airlines (e.g. drug testing and background check)
Be able to relocate for the duration of the program and future job opportunities
Demonstrate the ability to pay out-of-pocket or secure financing for costs incurred during the time in the pathway
To participate in military pathway, you must:
Have a current log book
Be within 18 months of separation from the military (pre or post)
Have actively flown for two of the last five years for the RTP pathway (preferred)
Possess a First-Class Medical Certificate
Have or be able to obtain a valid passport with the ability to travel in and out of the U.S.
Have a high school diploma or equivalency
Possess a valid driver’s license
Be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without the need for company sponsorship of an employment-based visa now or in the future
Be at least 18 years of age at the time of application
Demonstrate proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English
Be able to pass the prescreening requirements needed for employment at Southwest Airlines (e.g. drug testing and background check)
Be able to relocate for the duration of the program and future job opportunities
Maintain any physical requirements necessary to complete new and ongoing Pilot training throughout the duration of the program
Demonstrate the ability to pay out of pocket or secure financing for the total amount of the program
If neither of those are aligned with your current experience, you can go with our Cadet Pathway. This takes you from little to zero experience, all the way to Southwest Airlines First Officer!
I'm sure you've already found our D225 page, but we've got lots of really great information on it here: https://careers.southwestair.com/D225. Let me know if you think up any other questions! So happy to help!
