Great questions! There are some positions we open for applications to just External Candidates, some to just Internal Candidates, and some that are open to both at the same time! We still review those applications in the order received - reviewing internal applications in the order received and then external applications in the order received. So, there are times where we'll fill an opening with an Internal Candidate before we get to reviewing those External Candidates. There's not a "set" amount of Candidates we review each time we open up a position.

If you've applied for this CS&S position and were not selected, you wouldn't be eligible to reapply for 12 months from the date of your interview. Your application or selection status to the Ramp Agent position wouldn't impact or limit you to applying after 12 months to the CS&S position.

We received many, many applications to our Flight Attendant posting last month, and our Inflight Recruiting Team is actively reviewing applications in order to set up chats and interviews with Candidates. Happy Tuesday, @diannebrown3023! Thanks so much for reaching out - I'm glad to provide some additional insight here. Upon review, when asked the question "If you are selected as a Flight Attendant trainee, you will be required to attend four weeks of unpaid training in Dallas, Texas, which will require you to stay overnight Monday through Friday for the entire training class, as well as train on weekends. During initial required training, lodging, some meals, and your transportation to and from the training facility and Dallas Love Field airport are provided by Southwest Airlines. Only trainees who successfully complete the training will receive a one-time $1,200 bonus, before taxes are withheld. Trainees who do not successfully complete initial training do not receive the one-time bonus payment. If selected, are you willing to attend four weeks of required, unpaid training in Dallas, Texas?" you indicated "no". This answer disqualified your application from consideration, as mentioned training in Dallas, TX is a requirement for the position.
If your answer was a mistake, we'd love to invite you to reapply when the position opens back up for applications! We are so appreciative of your interest in joining the Southwest Family!

I had my phone interview today and I mentioned to the recruiter I had not yet been able to upload my resume. After a successful phone interview, they sent me an email with a link to upload my resume so that it will be available for the next steps.
If your application status still says in progress, I would say that's a plus! Hang in there and in the meantime, be well and good luck to you!

@adrienneb, do you know if resume upload emails are being sent out? I've seen people posting that they received an email to schedule an interview already, but nothing about uploading a resume.
When I joined the talent community, I uploaded it then. Is there a way for them to see that when looking at applications?? I'm getting a bit nervous over here since they are going by the order of applications submitted, and I'm pretty sure mine was submitted a little after 9am CST, although I didn't actually check the time. Any help is appreciated.

Thank you so much for replying. I remember the application inquiring if you resided in certain states including South Carolina. I selected no. At the end of the application process it asked to confirm you are in one of the required stated which included North Carolina. I confirmed this as I reside in North Carolina. Is there a way to look into the option that was selected or again reach out to someone by email to fix this?
