@Bella12 Anyone can take classes at a JC so yes, you can take a Travel & Tourism class. You can always call and speak to the Administration at a JC for more details. Just remember to stay positive, and don’t let anyone’s comments about the struggle to land a job with SWA hinder you. You are the one who will set the tone for your dream job. Good luck to you!

It looks like the best you can do is $720 for two people. That's about as low as it goes for any time between now and August. https://www.southwest.com/air/booking/select.html?originationAirportCode=DAL&destinationAirportCode=GRR&returnAirportCode=&departureDate=2019-07-15&departureTimeOfDay=ALL_DAY&returnDate=2019-08-03&returnTimeOfDay=ALL_DAY&adultPassengersCount=2&seniorPassengersCount=0&fareType=USD&passengerType=ADULT&tripType=roundtrip&promoCode=&reset=true&redirectToVision=true&int=HOMEQBOMAIR&leapfrogRequest=true edit add: I took a quick look on Orbitz. It looks like $720 for two people is the going rate for competing airlines, too. Remember, if fares go down and you change to a flight with a lower fare, Southwest gives you travel funds that you can use (fee free) anytime within a year of the time you bought the original ticket. I suspect fares to GRR won't drop, but if fares to Chicago do (and I do expect that for end of July), you might be able to fly to Chicago and get a rent car.

Hi @DELONAYOUNG,
Thanks for your continued interest in the Flight Attendant position at Southwest Airlines! If your application still shows as under review, you should be good to go. If our Recruiters are unable to reach you by phone, they will leave multiple voicemails and also reach out via email. Best of luck throughout the process!

Not sure anyone here can give you that answer. Here is something you can do.
The last opening for a Flight Attendant job was 2/5/18 and now is closed. "In order to remain consistent in our hiring practices and to be fair to all applicants, they only accept applications for a specific position, and only when the job listing is active on the Careers page." The flight attendant positions would only be listed under the city of Dallas Texas, the Southwest Airlines main headquarters. The best thing you can do is set up a profile to be notified when jobs become available here https://tinyurl.com/y8p82yya See current job openings at Southwest Airlines here Careers page https://tinyurl.com/yalmfmzr Good Luck!

Definitely check right now during the sale ending Friday - this is one of the bigger sales Southwest only runs a few times a year. Use the "Flexible Dates" feature (looks like a little calendar) to see all the fares every day in a month view to spot the lowest prices. I think $310 for 2 people roundtrip is probably unrealistic for the DAL to GRR route, though. The lowest I just spotted when a ran a quick search was $127 one way - the total for two people flying roundtrip would therefore be $508. But you never know and fares do change regularly so keep checking! Hope you get to take the trip and don't be anxious - flying with Southwest is so much fun and a great airline for a newbie!

This is Bella. She is literally my travel buddy. On one flight I had her with me and this little boy was nervious about the flight. So I took Bella out of my bag and had her facing this little boy. Next I knew he was staring at her the whole flight without saying a word. He didn't cry, he was almost ready to do. Bella had a calming effect on this boy. Made me think if a purse ( that is what Bella is) maybe having a dog on board would have a calming effect on nervious passangers.
