Our flight was cancelled yesterday - BNA to LGA. They booked us on a flight for tonight. It is not looking good---seems SW is having a problem with nonstop flts to LGA---showing cancelled and/or delayed for most flights so far today. Question--yesterday we were at the airport waiting and received a Lov Voucher for @300.
If today's flight is cancelled, do we get another voucher?
There is no way to know. Different employees may handle it in different ways
Do we have "be present" to get it??? Thanks for all info!
I'd say normally , yes., but Lot's of people complain directly to SW and get vouchers though., To do so click on "contact us" below and proceed.
Other times the airlines just sends them to passengers when things are obviously abysmal

You will earn whatever points are given for a purchase on your Southwest card. Southwest credit cards have 2x points for non-Southwest travel purchases.
Additional hotel bonus points are only earned if you book through the Hotels link on southwest.com. That transaction is handled by booking.com

Assuming you mean travel funds, no, they can only be used for plane tickets by the originally named passenger.
However, it seems that southwest has an unannounced deal and is giving people the option of converting travel funds into vouchers - without the normal $100 fee. Vouchers cab be used by anyone and are good for 6 months from date of issue.
So if you wait til the end of the year to do this, you'll have a bunch of 2023 time to use the voucher.

@dfwskier wrote: Sorry, but no you can't. - not thru SW at least -- meaning not thru Southwest Vacations because it is a separate company. You used o be able to buy rent cars, hotel stays and other things thru More Rewards - another separate company. Be warned that if you use them, you will find that the firm gives you far less value per point than Southwest does, I just tried to find the link to More Rewards, but failed to find it. Maybe it no longer has ties to Southwest.. IDK More Rewards is still available, although it's now limited to Chase Rapid Rewards credit card cardholders only. The link is under Rapid Rewards > How To Redeem. More Rewards Rental cars, hotels, cruises, international flights, merchandise and a selection of gift cards are among available options. But as @dfwskier mentioned, the redemption rate is very unfavorable when compared to using points for Southwest flights.

Morning. All Rapid Rewards partners add earened points directly to your RR account. You don't have to do anyting except use a partner and be sure the partner has your RR number. You can keep track of points aded to your account by logging on to your Southwest account, and click on "recent activity" under "my Rapd Rewards" on the left side of the page. A year's worth of point data is located there.

All Rapid Rewards points you earn, whether they come from flying shopping rental cars, hotels, dining, a Southwest credit card, or numerous other earning opportunities all pool into your Rapid Rewards account and are redeemable for flights. As long as you don't go longer than 24 months without earning points they will remain in your account so start earning and saving up for a great trip. --TheMiddleSeat Did this or any other comment in the thread answer your question?
