Me too, I have not heard from them since I applied for the ramp agent and nothing calls me yet. The Southwest has gone too far on peoples who are trying applications on the job postition as their adventure hoping to land the jobs there. As far I am concerned about the airlines job as my passions and it is on my bucket list before I can retires. Fast food and newspaper already on my bucket list. I was satisfied with two of my previous jobs. Good luck!

Would be nice if we dump Southwest for another airlines. They dumped everyone's time. Honestly by all means. I decided not be their passenger no more. It is simple.

I did had my return trip cancelled and contacted the Southwest, due to my medical emergency. After the medical (Hospital stay), I had to obtain the doctor's approval, plus stay at someone's house before returning home, and also, reschedule along with the doctor's note. I uploaded via by email and I got a return home ticket. I am not for sure about Confirmation letter and number, you got to contact the SW customer service represenative for further help with the situation that you have on your confirmation.

If a person who has a panic attack, may pose a danger or threats to another passenger. Since they weren't in contact with the doctor, without it, they won't let your girlfriend being boarded. I was given a clearance with the doctor's order and was given a front row seat due to my blood clot. I need a enough room for my leg. I am sorry to hear the bad experience about experience you had for your girlfriend. It is safety and security proctol that they had to protect the passengers from the threats.

@Whit123 It is either that your application might be in their system and may be slow to process the application submission or until one of the recruiter pulls up your online application submission. You might want to call SWA with their toll-free numbers at 855-245-9976. I hope this will helps you. Good luck.

I am sorry to hear about your heartsick experience. I never lost my lugagge in my life and I believe your luggage can be either ends up at unclaimed storage or someone inadvertise took your luggage thought it was their, or thief who came and swipe your luggage in a jiffy. I would recommends to anyone who have some concerns about their luggage being stolen or winds up in unclaimed storage. Just install the GPS tracker in your luggage when you go on your next flight. It will tells your your luggage at real time. Call the customer service to get you some help. Here is the link: https://www.southwest.com/html/generated/help/faqs/lost_and_found_faq.html I hope this will help you.

I am sorry that you are not happy with the snack. I have bought mine, but other times, I bought a McDonalds Meals, or Sbarro Pizza and among other things. I vividly recalled when I was little, the flight attendants was very nice and served us a meals on a two hours trip. Sadly, they don't do this anymore unless you are on oversea trip.

I know the posting is old. I vividly years ago, I recalled the flight attendant who works with American Airlines always announced anyone who is disability and they let them go in first. Someone in my family told them that I am deaf and I happened to get there first, and always sit on the assigned seat. It is very nice. These employee at American Airlines are the most polite peoples.

I don't know about the curbside service, I don't believe I have seen someone from SWA comes out to help peoples with needs at curbside. But, A few weeks after discharged from the hospital while on vacation out of state, I had a blood clot both D.V.T. and P.E. and I was cleared by the doctor for me to go home on airplane. My daughter took me to the airport and she helped me with one of two luggage and I had a walking cane for a temporary times, due to my blood clot. The worse part is: TSA. after going through the screening process and by the time when I turned around and to my dismay, one of the passenger whom I don't know looked down at me accusing me for faking disability. Long walk to gate wasn't easy by myself and ran out of breath, gave my writing note to let the boarding agent that I requires a front row seating that gave me enough room for my leg, not the disability for being deaf. They let me sit on front. By the time when my plane landed at MDW, another long walk to baggage waiting area and my brother picked me up. What do I think? It is the same as usual.

They won't let you visit their website outside of the United States for security reasons. Stay out of it!

@IanYVR I assume that you mentioned "YVR" which is a airport code located in Vancouver B.C. Canada. Anyway, if you are outside of the U.S. and may not possible access to Southwest online. Because Southwest only operate anywhere in the U.S. and Great Britian. I think their server prevents attackers from other country attacking Southwest server. The last time I checked the SWA servers possible operates out of New Jersey. There has to have a reason why they don't want anyone outside of U.S. to access the SWA website. So, You wants to call your local travel agency or contact Air Canada to purchase SWA tickets via Air Canada websites.... I hope this helps you.

@CareforNOLA I agree with the person's statement about pack lightly. I have been doing for long time, and pack two small bags ain't bad. Pack lightly and don't check in the baggage will give you less problems. If I were a lady, and shall I bring two small bags, but, do purse counts as third bag? If yes, I guess I have to wear fanny pack instead of bringing the purse whilist carry two bags. That's my two cents to make a statements.

@Passenger1C When I read the accomodation pages. They offer the help to peoples with disabilities, please read Southwest comments for peoples with disabilities who are trying to apply for the job: " NEED HELP APPLYING? We are committed to help individual with disabilities participate in the workforce and ensuring equal opportunity to apply and complete for jobs. If you have difficulty using our online carrer pages or participating in the hiring process due to your disability and need accommodation, you may email ( .........) or call us at (...............) For additional information, please visit our Diversity page. I am pretty sure that I went through a very difficult moment when applying and peoples at southwest " avoiding" at any time going through the peoples' application process. I don't believe the statement made by Southwest Airlines. Trust me if you are in my shoes and will makes you mad.

@spacecoastbill, I don't always abuse the front row or preboarding seat. This is not my priority. Unless if I have a medical condition aside from disability. I respect that. I once flew on first row seating due to my blood clot. I have obtained a medical approval from the doctor to be allow to fly and got me a front row seating . and I had to show the agent and they granted me a from row seat. This is the first time I ever sat in front row during my years of aviation. My legs require enough room, since I am 6'2". So, you like to accuse me of something? I am not suprised. Trust me.
