You'd have to check the terms of the promotion you signed up for but the Chase CP promotion I saw earlier this year was for 2019 only.

Here is the wording for family boarding: "General boarding starts with Business Select customers, who are guaranteed positions at the front of the A Group, followed by Rapid Rewards tier Members and the remaining Customers in the A Group, two adults with children age six and under, then groups B and C. Learn more about our boarding process." Source: https://www.southwest.com/html/customer-service/airport-experience/index.html I personally wouldn't pay for EarlyBird boarding if I were to fly on Southwest under a scenario where I qualified for family boarding.

@Afpilotrr wrote: As a military pilot on the staff, I threw my name in the hat for this program given I have not been flying, other than as a CFI/CFII on the side the past few years. Since I don't have "recentcy" would this program benefit me as a ~3900 total/1500 instructor pilot in C-17 and T-6A or is our side of the normal scope? ATP is nearly complete, just awaiting the check ride. Thanks! I don't work for Southwest but if I were you I would apply directly for a First Officer position. I also flew heavies then instructed in the T-37, I'm going to guess they want your experience. Now. Once you get your ATP you'll have all the boxes checked. Let us know if you need the links for the Southwest minimums.

I'll also add that there is a fee to transfer points, I personally wouldn't do it. You can book rewards flights for anyone using your points, it does not need to be for your own travel.

Hmmmm. I am able to think of two "official" cards that will have your RR number printed on it: Your Companion Pass card, if earned, issued by Southwest. Your personal Southwest RR Visa card (on the back), issued by Chase. If you don't have either of those then I think you'll need to print your own or come up with another option.

As another Southwest customer I'm sorry to read about your experience. I love the Southwest business model and I'm active here on the forums trying to help folks out. So with that as context my *personal opinion* is that flying Southwest doesn't always work for everyone and the situation described here is an example of why. Others may say it's rare to have a situation like this but when it happens to you, it doesn't matter. My two cents.

Most of the folks here are customers like me so I don't know that you'll get a timely response.

Correct to assume from your other thread that you are hired and waiting for training? If so are you able to ask your recruiter? Only reason I say this is because most of the folks in the forums are customers or job applicants so you may not get a timely, knowledgeable response. If you can go direct to Southwest that's what I'd do.

Stacia, you'll want to sign up for the talent community, more detail is available in the following post: https://www.southwestaircommunity.com/t5/Southwest-Careers/Introducing-a-new-Southwest-careers-website-experience/m-p/74434/highlight/true#M3863 Note that it's been a while since Southwest posted for flight attendant positions but if you sign up for the talent community you should receive a notification when it happens. Good luck!

Quick note that this is a public forum (I'm another customer but active in the forums), primarily designed for customer-to-customer interaction so you may want to: 1. Edit your post to remove your travel reservation reference numbers (*edit to add) and other personally identifying information. 2. Send your letter directly to Southwest using one of the methods listed in the "Contact Us" section at the bottom of the forum pages.

The picture on their site is illustrative, they literally don't care about which edge you call the width, the bag just needs to fit under the seat. Here is the exact wording from the Southwest site: "- Personal-type items include purses, briefcases, cameras, food containers, or laptops (case included). -Your personal item must be stored under the seat in front of you, fitting within 18.5 x 8.5 x 13.5 inch dimensions." @jksobonya wrote: What is the dollar / point ratio for flights (X per dollar)? It's currently 78 points per $1 of base fare. You can find the base ratio by comparing the points versus dollars for a flight. It's complicated a bit by taxes and fees (varies by flight route, connections, etc.) but that is your starting point.

The drink coupons are based on revenue flights, not rewards points flights. If you're paying cash for your flights and still not getting drink coupons then I'd reach out to Southwest (I'd use Twitter, see the "Contact Us" link at the bottom of the page). If you're not getting them because you've been flying on rewards points flights please reply to let others here know. @annvpp wrote: It was several minutes before the pilot came on the intercom and explained calmly that we had been preparing to land but another plane had not quite moved out of the way yet. A go-around is *usually* not due to an emergency. If you have the opportunity to talk to a pilot my guess is that they probably wouldn't even be able to tell you how many times they've done or practiced a go-around during their career (in the simulator or in the air), especially during their early training and aircraft specific qualification. Takeoff and landing are also usually the busiest part of a flight. Priorities on the flight deck are "aviate, navigate, communicate". Fly the plane, get to where you need to go, then talk with others so the several minute wait for a cabin announcement makes sense to me.
