Hey Nicole,
I understand it is an old thread, but I am experiencing this issue on both mobile and web (PC and mobile) and it is now 2024. It definitely seems related to flight changes, as the problem started right after I made one. This issue is very frustrating because the customer support representative is unable to resolve it, and it appears to be an ongoing problem that the tech team was supposed to have fixed years ago. Can you help us?

What has happened to SWA??? I wish I could attach screen shots of chat. If the problem continues, don't keep hitting your head against the wall. Just pick up your boarding pass from a kiosk at the airport. My rule of thumb is "if something doesn't work, then try somethng else."

@Passenger1C wrote: @TheJules2019 for your safety and those around you, when seated at a bulkhead all carryons must be stored in a overhead bin during take offs and landings. However, during the flight, you can grab your bag from the overhead, and leave at your feet, etc. You are allowed to have a tablet in your hands during takeoff, but not a full laptop. But as @Passenger1C said all bags would be stowed in the overhead.

@TheJules2019 , Blake summarized my thoughts on departure, and I wanted to add a comment about the return. Nashville TSA lines can be very unpredictable. The town draws a lot of tourists and a lot of conventions, so I suggest making sure you arrive at the two hour mark. I use BNA a lot, and I never can predict when the line will be 10 or 100 deep. The TSA group really understand that they have to be diligent and as quick as possible, so they seem to hustle the lines along. I have not missed a flight there yet but I have cut it terribly close from time to time. Have a great trip!

One benefit that early boarders (through benefits either earned or purchased) have is the ample availability of overhead bin space. I have observed that on some full flights, the bins fill up and a half dozen or more people have to check their roller bag luggage. The luggage does get checked to your final destination, but if I am headed to Love Field, that can add twenty plus minutes to getting out of the airport.
