I applied for a customer service agent position in October. Unfortunately, I did not get an interview and received my rejection letter today.
I did at least get an interview as a FA this past Summer. I thought I would try to get an interview as a Customer Service Agent, but it looks like its a "No" for me right now. It probably doesn't help that I live near a small airport. I guess I will keep my eyes open for another posting or a different Airline.
Good luck to you!

This is a different position and my first time applying for this role.
I recently applied as a customer service agent, not a FA.

I'm so bummed that I just got my rejection letter as a customer service agent and didn't even get to interview.
I have an extensive background in customer service in a high paced environment, etc. My application highlighted this.
At least I got an interview when I applied to be a flight attendant and I know they get a ton of applicants...
Does anyone have any tips to even land an interview?
I didn't even get a chance 😞

omg thanks for your insight! The most informative info I've gotten from anyone!
I have a couple more questions:
1. Is the turnover rate really high similar to any customer service position?
I currently work as a cashier at a grocery store and I'm so burned out. The turnover rate is insane where I work.
It's very monotonous and you are stuck in the same spot for 8 hours a day doing the same thing... scanning groceries. It's boring! haha.
I like a job with challenge and working as a cashier at a grocery store is not challenging to me. I feel like a robot.
2. Are you stuck in the same spot for 8 hours doing the same thing every day?
I consider myself a people person and I'm use to dealing with entitled customers (my store is in a very affluent area and they are super needy and rude).
I'm just trying to figure out if it's like working in retail.
thanks so much!

I was stranded over night in Denver and it turned out to be SWA's fault (not weather related) and was told that they are all out of hotel vouchers. I had to scramble and find a hotel that offered a shuttle from the airport.

Hi, I'm interested in the Customer Service Agent Position and was able to submit my app before it closed. It looks like it was only open for 4 days.
I have questions for those work as a CSA:
-What is the most challenging part about this job? The angry customers?
-How competitive is this job? Do you only interview a small percentage of applicants?
-Apparently the airport i applied for has internal applicants first and then external for a very short period of time. Is this normal?
-Do CSA have unions or is it only pilots and Fa's?
I know i will have more questions later

I know they probably get a lot of applicants. I made it to the 3rd round of interview for flight attendant and unfortunately didn't get a job offer. I want to be part of the SWA family so bad.
I'm praying I get an interview!

Hi,
I submitted my resume for a Customer Service Agent yesterday and it's not longer listed.
I went to my job profile and it says "In Progress"
The job listing was only up for 4 days and now it's gone?
Does this mean it's been filled? or was a mistake? I hope not.
There was another job listing (ramp agent) for the same airport and it's also gone.
Is this normal? I know with a flight attendant position they only keep it up for 1-2 days.
I really want to work for this company!!!

Hi, I'm trying to cancel a flight and I keep getting an error code and that I need to call customer service.
I've been on hold with customer service for 45+ min. so far
Isn't SWA pretty flexible with canceling flights? Is there anyway this flight is ineligible for a flight credit?
hoping it's a glitch with the system. anyone else have this issue?

I have a travel credit currently on my account and I'm looking at using it for a flight in the fall. The flight costs less than what my travel credit equals to. Do I have to use that flight credit all in one transaction? or will the remaining balance be left for me to use on another future flight? I've never done this before so I have no idea.. thanks
