Looks like you did everything possible and more. Going forward when you do hear back, or re apply for PT post you have already proven the length you are willing to go to be respectful and responsible for a job you never had. šš.
Good luck with pt search. I love Part Time jobs. Time enough to get be apart of a team, not enough time to get too involved.

You had me before, but you got me with
"Y'all I'm 51 yes old!"
So am I! My start date 6/6. Thank you for the info, especially about parking and not able to access SWA life.com. Sometimes info on the things "not to look for" is just as important.
Now....1 question regarding dress for training. Be 100, can I wear comfortable, cute, fashion sneaks DAY 1? I ask only because I broke some toes a bit back and I sticking my bread loaf of a foot in heel, pump, or even flat dress shoes is touchy. Again thank you for info, good luck on your journey, keep us posted!

I got all excited when I read...(hmmm šµš¼ idk how to insert what you wrote...āļønšļø)
"Hey there, I might be training with you. Same position and start date. I just got my background clearance Friday. Hopefully, I will have some more email movement this upcoming week."

Closed complete is the sign the process will not be moving forward with that specific job, and location. I should know as I have received plenty "closed complete".
Reach out to your recruiter that linked you with your interviewers and ask, how you can improve your interview skills? When can you re- apply for the job you were interested in? I did. My recruiter sent me links to mock interviews, and helped me practiced interview questions, and gave me ideas for other job titles my skills would fit with. So much LUV for my Recruiter š„°
I went back to searching for other jobs I was qualified for and would enjoy. From Dec 2021 till about March or April 2022, I only received "closed completed" so don't give up.
My start date is now 6/6. Soooo keep trying, keep applying, signup for job alerts so you can be a early application. This might just be your time to practice telling others how amazing you are.

Study up on interviewing skills, it will get you in the mind set of thinking about all the good you have to offer. My sweet recruiter sent me links to YouTube videos about mock interviews, SUPER helpful. Have and practice some answers to normal interview questions. Practice in the mirror aloud, to your family, to your friends, to the cashier at Target, to anyone that will listen, how amazing and perfect you are for the job. I had to practice, not rambling ( like I do in my post obvi), staying on topic, bring my answer always back to some skill that would benefit, and actually answering the question.
Good luck, be yourself, listen to happy music right before, and enjoy yourself in the opportunity.

I don't know if this will help, and it is not an immediate fix but...
When I withdrew from a "ground ops" position I received an email afterwards asking me why I didn't complete the process? I'm guessing you didn't get any notification afterwards? ...But keep a look out for any email that will ask you why you withdrew, even though you didn't. There was a signature on that email I don't remember. There is a local number Dallas phone # for the corporate offices you can Google and try to reach the person that emailed you back.
I'm sorry that is all I think of š. FA posting are hard to come by so I can see why you would be disappointed. I know when screenings are are done if certain qualifications aren't meant they just stop the process there, reflected in dashboard as "closed complete", not "candidate withdrew". 1 good thing is you won't have to wait to the allotted time to re- apply.
Try searching in this community to see if someone else had the issue and found an resolution.

4/29 I received an email that started my "employee screening" - drug testing info.
Took 3 weeks to get next email
5/19 Email that employee screening was completed and moving towards onboarding. There was no links, and no work to do on my part but to wait. The email stated I would be contacted by a recruiting coordinator, a single contact person that I would be working through onboarding.
5/23 Email from Rec Coor. I now had 1 point of contact to answer any questions. Recruiting Coor was filing in any information the company still needed to receive, and could respond within 24hrs to my questions. This 1st email was the official offer to be signed and returned. Make sure you screenshot or write down your start date, left top corner of your letter. Once you sign your part I couldn't figure out how to get back to, had my Coor send it to me for records.
-From 5/23-till present 5/31 emails come more frequently
Good luck! KEEP stalking your emails like it's your J O B! š We have all done it.

I think that's it. We need to look for each other day 1š

4/25 Email with link to consent for background check (employee screening)
4/29 Email with drug test info that had to be completed in 48 hrs.
Then I heard NOTHING. š Makes a person doubt themselves when they know there was nothing on the drug test, but still, sweating bullets until 3 weeks later
5/19 Email employee screening complete, moving on to onboarding. *This is when I was communicating with just 1 recruiter that was handling all my info, and helping me forward.
5/23 Email official offer screenshot or write down your start date will be on that letter, left top corner.
After I returned my signed offer my emails started coming more frequently, and almost daily.

I heard back that day. Right after I left the the video conference with several mgrs of LEAD OPS, my recruiter called my phone. She asked that I return to chat room, and that's where they gave me my CO. Things happen different for everyone, so keep watching out for any calls, or emails š¤

Thank you so much for posting your journey. It really is a lot of help to those that are following behind you. Did you wear/carry a mask at TOPS? I know SWA drop masks for traveling, but wasn't so sure if that extended to employees for both on and off site.
I think @jgbarnett is right. So if, I mean WHEN you fly back to big "D" for a deck party, I owe you a cold š„¤.

Oh no. Hang in there. There are some "A day in the life of SWA..." YouTube videos that can help ease that feeling of unkown. I've been watching some tours of the airport, some people's 1st training days, classroom, etc. There is lots of info out there, so take with a grain of salt. Your experience will be yours. š If anything, May 2nd get up super early, get cute, grab donuts, get up to airport super early, and go say "Hi" to your new co-workers and hand out donuts. I bet that might get you some info. š© at least get you some work friends.

What if you created your own job?
Training ASL/ ADA to SWA employees. The class could be a requirement of the ASL basics and the basics of ADA training for ALL new and existing employees. I would love the ability to learn to communicate WITH EVERY human. You could making ASL, transcription, ADA modifications the norm instead of the expectation. ālooks like SWA scores 100.

Update... Today 4/22, I VI'ed for a corporate posting, Scheduler I - pilots Dallas. The interview questions had me really thinking about my own life experience and how I will use that knowledge to be successful in the job.
š„š„š„š„š„
And I GOT the job!
I will be working out of Dallas offices as Scheduler1. It was so cute at the end of the interview š, we all signed off the video chat. But my AMAZING recruiter, Mallorrii, called and told me to get back on chat. When I got back video there was a whole team of hiring leadership together asking if I would join their teamš„³š. I was in tears of happiness. I'm so very happy, grateful, excited and just all kind of feels. š

So my understanding is, and I'm no professional. WFH careers are also under the corporate category of jobs. So make sure you check out that category as well. They post several opportunities for any skill level in corporate jobs, just make sure your always checking, or have job alerts. Jobs in admin, scheduling, HR are under Corp.
Hope this helps.
