I completely agree. It is still my responsibility to maintain communication with SWA and the airport authority to find out if I keyed something incorrectly or, if there were other issues I might not have been aware of so it doesn't delay my start date; the HR contractor I am working with was very helpful with this as well.

Hello,
I was advised that the badging office at HOU-Hobby would be sending an email to me regarding where to go for airport training at HOU for the Ramp Agent position. I was told they would respond by yesterday with the location for training but, I haven't received anything and they are not open on Fridays. Is there any way to find out this information or, do I need to go to the badging office on my first day of work on Monday? Any assistance would be appreciated.

The best way to put yourself in the best position to get hired is to apply to more than one position within Southwest and you have that part covered. A lot of people only apply to one position in the hopes that it will work out however, it is best to do what you have done and apply to multiple positions. Also, set up job alerts on your online profile so available jobs can be sent to you email address; check the website each day for new postings because, the sooner you apply to those new postings, the better the chances of getting selected to proceed.

Hello,
Back in August, I applied for the Aircraft Appearance Technician position; I was advised via email on 9/15 that applications were being reviewed and that they planned on letting me know something by 9/22. If I haven't heard from anyone does that mean they have already made their decision or, that the maximum capacity for the hiring class has been reached? Any assistance would be appreciated.
