Southwest phone reps used to be able to find lost funds using the credit card number used to make the purchase. Officially they can't do that anymore... but you might be able to find a rep who can still help. Here's the official policy: Customers calling Southwest to request a refund or to research travel funds for a specific ticket must provide their confirmation number, ticket number or flight information (date, origin and destination).

Unfortunately, according to the website that first suggested the work-around I posted earlier, the "fix" is now broken again. 😞 I generally do not recommend Southwest gift cards. The limitations on use, inability to add funds or combine balances, and non-refundability make them risky and unattractive as an option. wrote: @BullsFan i have read a bunch of your posts... well put.. You can type the three letter code for the departure city then tab or click over to the arrival city and do the same thing without selecting anything from the pop-up suggestion list. It saves you time and sounds like that's what you are looking for?

If this is for a flight you already took, you can go to "past flights" on your account page and see receipts. That doesn't have the high resolution of your confirmation email though with all of the breakdown for fare components.

There aren't any. But if you're flying on one of the SWA planes with the new torture seats (cardboard, non-padded, 1 inch "arm rests", no depth), then someone with too much bad perform might be a good distraction from the extreme discomfort of the "seat".

My destination city was consistently grayed out, and the agent explained that it might be because there are so many city choices in Florida they don't want a user to make a mistake, so force the call. All taken care of, but did have to do it over the phone.
