No one in this thread complaining about baggage is posting about travel over the holidays. Their bags were lost in October and November. Before the holiday Southwest had one of the lowest rates of mishandled bags, lower than United, American, Delta, JetBlue, and Alaska. I know reading can be hard, but if you are going to post please try to comprehend the situation first and post when you have something useful to say.

I would suggest that you re-read my post.
The lack of attention to the individual's situation is the core of the complaint. I referred to the experience over the Holidays which I refer to as the DISASTER as an example of what happens when Southwest ignores these complaints.

In response to my DOT complaint, Southwest reached out to me and asked me to file the paperwork AGAIN including the receipts, numbers, dates of flights etc. which I did.
Hope is what keeps us humans going 🙂
