Late to the discussion on this, but as a long-time A-lister, I am disappointed to no longer receive drink coupons in the mail periodically. It takes a lot of flying to achieve A-list status and while I can understand the desire to save $$ on postage, a periodic electronic credit for a beverage would be appreciated.
As a person who has been A-List for every single year that the program has been in existence. I agree that ti takes a lot of flying to get and keep the status.
But if you are A-List, how is it that you are just now complaining about something that changed over a year ago? If you fly at least 25 one ways a year, surely you should have noticed that the coupons were missing (multiple times) a long, long time ago.

The other theory is that (NOT hopefully) every month Southwest *discards* any spending above the next $5,000 threshold, and doesn't carry those dollars/points over to the next month. That would be a very unfriendly practice, but it could explain the discrepancy.
That is ridiculous.

Southwest has no idea what you spend on your Chase card.
Southwest just take orders from Chase to add RR points to accounts.
So, if there's a problem, you need to discuss it with Chase.

what does "change the pickup" mean? Date , city.??
IIf it's the date, then you do a ticket change and pay the difference in price between what you paid and what the fare is now (or get a flight credit if the current fare is lower).
If it's a city change, same as above.
In both cases you keep our existing confirmation number as well as your early bird purchase -if you purchased it.

The question should be how many of those 102.896 points were earned on Soutwest flights, rent cars, hotels, shopping, dining, eyc -- if you signed up you earned points beyond the dollars you spent. The point being you probably didn't spend 102,896 dollars.

Also, when they still existed, Sotuhwest's senior fares were discounted Anytime fares, so they were the cheapest refundable fare one could buy, but they were not the cheapest. The cheapest was and is a Wanna Get Away fare.

Be careful with your phone/camera. The sun will fry your photo sensor. During totality you'll be fine. Any other time your camera will need the same type of protection the naked eye will need.

I'm not abso.utely certain, but I'd expect you would get a decent boarding position Al-isters would be in front of you, but then other Anytimers in order of tiket purchase date.. I would not expect many Anytimers as most people are going to fly as WGA of WGA+. So the real question is how many A listers would be in front of you.

You could buy 2 one way flights.
Pay for the outbound with points for all four, and the return with cash for all four..
Southwest does not charge more for 2 one ways vs the roundtrips -- unlike some airlines.

What's unreliable? The fares have increased. They always do as we head in to summer. the calendar still shows the lowest fares by day.
You may not like the fares but the calendar is reliable.
BTW the "after summer" fares will fall. They always do. You may have to wait til August to see it though.
