Here you go... https://thehill.com/homenews/sunday-talk-shows/565831-fauci-amount-of-virus-in-breakthrough-delta-cases-almost-identical So yeah, you get the vaccine, you can still get a breakthrough case, and still transmit the virus. Note that your link has words like "mounting' and "suggests". So that's not proof by any stretch. You best be careful when you use words like "completely wrong" and laugh before you understand the extent of your hyperbole. Oops... not so complete, is it? Do we agree vaccination is preferred? Yes. Except I'm not the one seeking perfection. It's these fearmongers DEMANDING 100% vaccination of employees or else they'll die in the sky. I'm just saying it's not my call to force someone else to get vaccinated... and there's nothing particularly unique about flight crew that demands they be singled out for forced vaccination. They've managed so far. To claim it's impacting "passenger safety" is a stretch not supported by the facts. I get that your personal opinion is to error far on the side of caution. You'll wear a mask the rest of your life, probably. But there's many of us not so worried. I've had Covid. Why should I be forced to get vaccinated to work on a plane? Just because "every bit helps"? Then I suggest we reduce the speed limit back to 55 mph... because the same logic applies. Maybe 45mph whilst we're at it.

I think it didn't happen. No turtle fanatic mistakenly calls them tortoises in the same sentence. It blows my mind why so many creative writers come here to leave random messages and then vanish. What purpose does that serve? There's no ad revenue or click bait. Yet it gets spammed on at least three threads. So curious.

Your concern is unwarranted. Masking on airplanes has been proven effective. Vaccination has NOT been proven effective at reducing transmission. Therefore, requiring masked flight attendants to be vaccinated, especially when surrounded by many more passengers of unknown vaccination status makes absolutely no sense. Unless of course you're driven by illogical levels of fear not supported by statistics. Which, if so, you shouldn't be flying... and this doesn't apply to you.

I'm pretty sure they are treated as individual payments. Confusingly, they are tracked by the same 5 digit record locator, plus a 4 digit suffix. I've put in the 5 digit code and had TWO travel funds be applied for this reason. I'm not positive it then limits you to only one more type of payment, though. You can always create a new fight and cancel it to combine two or three TF into one.

In my experience, the country or island you are traveling to has the upload site. The airline only asks to see the QR code or screenshot.

I think you need to review the definitions of "guidance" and "requirements". You seem to be conflating them. But hey, thanks for creating an account here just to convey to us all your wisdom about FAR part 25.

You didn't read or understand all the comments, yet you expect us to read yours , and only agree with you. You can't accept criticism, which just reinforces our opinion that you might be being unreasonable. Writing short messages doesn't make us rude. Neither does disagreeing with you. But you calling us that helps us understand your position. So call it bias if you want. Southwest flies a point to point model, using small planes and short routes. That means many flights are connecting, especially during Covid. You're mad about that, especially because you didn't read your email. Then you are offended for some apparent tone from the flight attendants. Your need to write an epic tome over this again reinforces our belief that you have thin skin and made a mountain out of a molehill. Most people would just let it go. Yeah, I guess you need to accept that SWA tends to be a little snarky. You should have known that by now. Again, possibly made worse by the stresses of Covid. All said, you seem to be type that prefers to fly American. No need to try to convince the rest of us. To each their own. Just don't demand validation from us.

TLDR: You got a nonstop fight changed to a connecting flight, your kids made a mess on the plane, you're frustrated traveling with them, and everything is everyone else's fault. Enjoy American.

I doubt we'll ever get a reply on this. Too many things don't make sense. Sounds like another creative writer at work.

Nope, I still just get these options. But at least I can include a link and a photo. Not that the photo shows up... just a triangle

Except that SWA doesn't do miles, they do points. And almost all tier qualifying points are obtained by flying... or in this case, buying tickets. At 6 points per dollar, you'd have to spend $166,000 to get a million TQP. Flying a million miles on the other hand is more like 40-50 global RT, which can be had for $50,000. Do you think anyone spends that much on SWA? $5000 a year for 30 years? A round trip every week or two? I'd expect CP for life.

Yeah, not visible in Chrome. Strange. New problem. The fact that they show up for a split second and then vanish behind the text window is odd. Another reason I hate programmers.

You won't get much help here. We're just community members. But the painful truth about using travel funds is they all acquire the earliest expiration date if used to book one ticket. The closer funds get to expiry, the more careful you must be using small funds on trips you may cancel. If you bundle them with cash or other funds, you lose more if they do expire. Sorry for your experience.

Recently the reply screen only shows a few icons for editing my message. The important ones like quoting a post in a reply show up, but quickly vanish. Anyone here a wizard with HTML and know what's going on?

If you think southwest is "profiting from the pandemic", you might want to do some research. Their accountants would disagree. I've flown over 100,000 miles since Covid without issue. Why exactly are you not flying? If you're that at risk, you should be staying at home. If so, why did you buy a plane ticket? It's really not the airline's fault that you've succumb to the panic porn foisted upon you by the mainstream media. You need to be a bit more discerning in your consumption of news and calculation of risk. The world's not the big bad deadly place you seem to think it is.

I don't think you realize that most of us have no clue what supporting the open source community has to do with using wifi on an airplane.

Yes they will. I've had it accepted in Cabo without hesitation, and in Dubai and the Maldives with hesitation. The rest of the world expects PCR. But Southwest is quite aware that the US only requires antigen.

Not sure why that smallest dimension would matter. The length is the most critical, so the bin can shut. And even then, many people put their oversized bags on sideways to cheat.

4 bags for two people, round trip, can easily cost $320 on most airlines. That's more than the entire cost of most of my SWA flights. So there's that. If you're one of the curiosities who brings an oversized bag onto the plane and blocks the aisle trying to cram it into the overhead bin... yeah, we'd prefer you fly another airline and "save" money.

I do agree it's a silly policy after a year, but then... so is still requiring masks for vaccinated people. But at least the tone of demanding masks be over your nose every second seems to have subsided. Just flew Emirates around the world and they served plenty of drinks and food. And let's just say, if you're not able to have a drink on a flight, you're not trying very hard.

Why would you not fly for a year? Sounds like a personal decision unrelated to Covid. So you won't find much sympathy here.
