Why are representing to everyone that you know everything about Southwest?

I would respectfully submit that the complaint has nothing to do with preboarding, it has to do with the rules in general.
Leave the preboarding people alone.

Your two friends are wrong. They had no business questioning people about preboarding.
Under Federal law, you present and request preboard due to a medical condition. You can either get assistance boarding, or not. Your choice.
For the gate agent to ask any more questions begins to violate the individual's rights. If your two friends believe that people are gaming the system, then resign as they did.
Honor the preboard requests and keep it moving.

You agree to their terms and conditions when you buy the ticket.
If you do not like Southwest policies, put out a tender offer for all of the common stock, acquire the company and write whatever policies that you like.
As an alternative take a private jet.

How unfortunate. I am sure that Southwest convened an emergency board meeting to discuss this tragedy.

They are not covering "replacement value" but "current value".
If you want replacement value, contact your homeowner insurance and tell them that you want replacement value on everything in the home, no deductible.
Then, when your premium triples, you are totally covered.

Last time I checked, you are not my doctor.
However, I have observed that the "miracle of flight" tends to be a short-term medical condition where the illness returns just prior to the next flight.

The "miracle of flight" - all ailments cured after preboarding to get a good seat. It is a medical miracle.

I have the right to preboard and take a seat that is convenient to me.
Nothing you can do about it but watch.

Wrong. I have spoken to SW about this issue. If the seat is available, then it is open.
The only exception is a seat originally taken and the person is not presently occupying the seat like being in the toilet.

Thank you Southwest.

If someone "saves" a seat, I ignore them. I sit where I want. The person trying to "save" the seat has a few options:
1.) use another airline with assigned seating
2.) pay for Early Bird Check-In and also for your companion
3.) charter a private jet
4.) stay home
5.) follow the rules

When you travel, you have to be aware of the bag's weight. The fact that you had an overweight bag means you pay the fee. It does not mean that you get credit for the other bag's difference between the actual weight and the limit.
There is nothing absurd about the policy.

I preboard on every flight. It is my right under ADA.
As far as the whole family, a preboard person can take with them one companion. When the whole family with kids wants to preboard, the question is what do they do with the kids when they aren't on the plane?
If they are able to keep up with the kids, then they don't need to preboard.
Next time, request a wheelchair and you will be first on and off the plane. I just watched a family abuse the preboard policy on the way from Los Cabos MX to Houston. They probably were awake all night trying to rig the preboard rules so that they could all get the front rows.
Next time, I'm requesting a wheelchair to get on ahead of these people.

it isn't "HIPPA", its "HIPAA". And, its not against the law to ask on the basis of HIPAA since Southwest is not a covered entity and does not have "protected health information" or "PHI".

I regularly pack an extra laptop in a checked bag. Each time there is an insert from TSA that they inspected my bag. No big deal. If yours was left out of your bag, I would contact TSA.
