Check out the careers page and start applying! As long as you were in good standing when you left and it's been at least a year, you should be in the clear to apply for whatever you want. Good luck!

Good ole Phoenix! I always told myself I would visit there one day. It looks so beautiful there. I want to catch a great sunset. With Southwest, it will be on my travel list.😀

Okay, so I got the email from the system that my background check is complete (form letter mail not personalised to me specifically). Then....?? Nothing. It says that my recruiter will be in contact, I've had a different recruiter for each of these steps so not really sure who. Is this what it was like for all recently hired cohearts? My current employer is asking me to take on new projects and I've been in limbo for so long now, not really sure what to think 🤷♀️😔

FA posts are unpredictable. They open listing on SWA job board, hold "job fairs" in different cities, have applications that came in after the last class was filled, etc. Make sure to check swa career web page, constantly. Tell your family and friends to be on the look out for SWA job fairs in your town and other cities you can fly to. Good luck!

Looks like you did everything possible and more. Going forward when you do hear back, or re apply for PT post you have already proven the length you are willing to go to be respectful and responsible for a job you never had. 😆😉.
Good luck with pt search. I love Part Time jobs. Time enough to get be apart of a team, not enough time to get too involved.

Closed complete is the sign the process will not be moving forward with that specific job, and location. I should know as I have received plenty "closed complete".
Reach out to your recruiter that linked you with your interviewers and ask, how you can improve your interview skills? When can you re- apply for the job you were interested in? I did. My recruiter sent me links to mock interviews, and helped me practiced interview questions, and gave me ideas for other job titles my skills would fit with. So much LUV for my Recruiter 🥰
I went back to searching for other jobs I was qualified for and would enjoy. From Dec 2021 till about March or April 2022, I only received "closed completed" so don't give up.
My start date is now 6/6. Soooo keep trying, keep applying, signup for job alerts so you can be a early application. This might just be your time to practice telling others how amazing you are.

Study up on interviewing skills, it will get you in the mind set of thinking about all the good you have to offer. My sweet recruiter sent me links to YouTube videos about mock interviews, SUPER helpful. Have and practice some answers to normal interview questions. Practice in the mirror aloud, to your family, to your friends, to the cashier at Target, to anyone that will listen, how amazing and perfect you are for the job. I had to practice, not rambling ( like I do in my post obvi), staying on topic, bring my answer always back to some skill that would benefit, and actually answering the question.
Good luck, be yourself, listen to happy music right before, and enjoy yourself in the opportunity.

4/22 Email Received my CO
4/25 Email with link to consent for background check (employee screening)
4/29 Email with drug test info that had to be completed in 48 hrs.
Then I heard NOTHING. 😒 Makes a person doubt themselves when they know there was nothing on the drug test, but still, sweating bullets until 3 weeks later
5/19 Email employee screening complete, moving on to onboarding. *This is when I was communicating with just 1 recruiter that was handling all my info, and helping me forward.
5/23 Email official offer screenshot or write down your start date will be on that letter, left top corner.
After I returned my signed offer my emails started coming more frequently, and almost daily.
5/23 til present 5/30 welcome letter, general info on benefits, info on training,

Was this your 1st interview ( phone interview) or your VI? I emailed my recruiter right after my not so great VI. She responded the next day helping me understand the hiring process. Good luck. Keep watching your dashboard, your junk emails, and answering your phone to private numbers.

What if you created your own job?
Training ASL/ ADA to SWA employees. The class could be a requirement of the ASL basics and the basics of ADA training for ALL new and existing employees. I would love the ability to learn to communicate WITH EVERY human. You could making ASL, transcription, ADA modifications the norm instead of the expectation. looks like SWA scores 100.

About2be - thank you I certainly will check corporate jobs as well. I am really interested in the Customer Service and Support CS&S (WFH) Call Center positions, however I do not see any job post listed.
Another team member help me understand that CSA jobs is not WFH jobs, but directly work in the airport. I saw quite a few CSA job listings, however I did not see any CS&S (WFH) job listings, I was a little disappointed but I will keep looking.
