Thank you @skyrick ! That's so kind of you!
I am a current employee, and if anyone here is a new-hire and has access to Yammer on SWAlife, check out the 'All Company' feed. You can find out a little more about me there and we can connect! π

You still need to get the emails about start dates, the official offer letter, and then you'll get the OnBoarding emails.

Just your onboarding 'packet'. I say 'packet' loosely because its all virtual. You'll fill out your I-9, and digitally sign all the employee policies. They'll send a link to do that. You'll hear from your station about your first day and SIDA badge. Other than that, there isn't much else besides waiting. π

I would not take the information from the image posted above. As a CSA, you will be working at an actual airport in front of our customers, so the dress code isn't as lax. Black shoes is the main thing. Comfortable, good for walking/standing. You'll be on your feet a lot, so comfort is key. No open toed shoes/sandals. Did I say comfortable? Lol.

With Southwest, it's space available. There is no first class. Business class only refers to your boarding position. You'd get the same type of seat everyone else gets. Other airlines, it's also space available, so you get whatever is left, if any. Depending on the agreement, we have to pay taxes and fees, so it's not completely free. You cannot specify a fare class unless you buy a ticket. This will all be covered during training. Dont worry! π Focus on those city codes. π

There is a shuttle that operates for a good portion of the day. If your flight arrives after the shuttle, they'll send instructions on what to do. All your questions about travel will be answered once you get to your first day and you'll have ample time to plan. Don't worry!

As most of you know, at the end of your first week of training you will be given a test on Southwest's current city codes and you'll need an 80% to pass. However, our customers expect the best from us, so we should really aim for 100%. Also, we use these codes daily in our work, so we have to know them anyway.
Until I finish working on a comprehensive flashcard set, I took this list off the official Southwest Airlines 'Where We Fly' website. Happy studying! π

The hiring process for inflight is very rigorous and controlled. I'm willing to bet they won't be doing interviews for FA's (Inflight). Keep an eye on the careers page for that opportunity! Good luck!

If you look at other hiring timelines, you will see the process varies. First, you'll receive an email from SW (not Sterling) that your background has cleared. After that, you'll have a few emails about your start date. Then, an email about your actual start date. Finally, you'll get the official offer letter. π Give it some time and be patient, you are almost there!

Do not worry, it is not required! π They are helpful tho! I believe there is a general careers informational session held every week. I don't remember what day it is, but if you search for the online sessions, you'll find them. At the end they do a Q&A, and you can ask specific questions about the role then.

You should be getting an email with instructions on how to upload it soon! They will be reaching out to the other thousands that weren't able to upload resumes also, so it may take some time. I remember manually entering mine on my profile via my dashboard. Have you tried that?

I would recommend sending an email back to the person who sent you the CJO. If not, I would wait a day to see if something else comes at a later time.

It's definitely not 240, lol. It's somewhere around 122. It depends on if they are adding the new routes to the test. I don't remember how I got to this page, but if you Google: 'Southwest Airlines Where We Fly', you'll find the official list I used to study. It should take you to a Southwest Airlines website called 'Where We Fly'.

I wouldn't panic. As long as you are still in the process, you'll be fine. Sometimes the dashboard will glitch, and things can disappear, but they will usually return a few hours later. Don't worry. If it's not back up by tomorrow, I would reach out to your recruiter. Good luck and hopefully it pops back up soon!

You have to pass it in that first week to proceed. I would recommend studying beforehand if you are not familiar with airport codes already. Its a lot to take in if you try to learn them all the first week.

Paper practice was mostly alphabetical by code. The final test on the computer is broken up by regions. As for being timed, I'm pretty sure it was timed, but you'll be given so much time that you won't even have to worry. There is no reason to rush.

Continue to be patient. Those emails should still be trickling out, and SW will email those whom they need resumes from. Don't let the other responses wreck your nerves, and do not compare your journey to others! Every person who has applied has a very different story, even though we have all gone through the same process. We are all here to support and uplift. Stay positive and good luck!

For non-rev travel, you can book ahead via the SW employee website (You'll get access during your first few days). I think it only goes 30 days in advance. I usually dont book until 1-2 days before. I haven't had any issues with travel yet, mainly because I only book where there is a good chance to have space.
An 'open seat' is a seat that hasn't been purchased by a customer. When you are booking, there is an option to see how many open seats are available. You'll learn this all during training. They show you how to use the employee website. Don't worry, you will be taken care of by your trainers. π

You really have to be patient throughout this process. There is no set timeframe, or even an average, during hiring. If you check out any of the 'hiring timeline' posts, you'll see it could be a day or a couple months before correspondence. The recruiters are good about reaching out to candidates if they need more information from them though, so no need to worry. They'll get to everyone eventually. Good luck!

If you are hired for the ramp, during your first week of training you will be on a regular schedule. Thats M-F, basically 9-5. From my experience, after that, you will be on the same schedule as your trainer. Mine was approx 5am-1pm with Tue/Wed off. Then you go to Dallas and train M-Thurs, approx 7am-4pm. After that, I was certified, and immediately went to nights, 5pm-2am with Wed/Thurs off. For my first bid schedule I got 5pm-2am again with Th/Fri off. Next month, I have 130pm-10pm, Fri/Sat off. In all honesty, I don't even know how I pulled off the Fri/Sat days off. The more senior people usually get those, and it's very rare for a newbie like me.
Basically, you kinda take what you get. Lol. I know it's not like that forever tho. It's only this way in the beginning.
