Contact your recruiter for ramp when they email you about a start date. Let them know the situation. After you agree on a start date, that's when they will send the *official* offer letter. Hopefully you can get the OPs contingent offer before your ramp official offer. You should know almost right away during the VI if you have a contingent offer. Be 100% transparent with your recruiters. They will also let you know how to approach this situation.

Hey yall! Those of you that are new to this site have been able to benefit from the posts from those that came before you. There are still people applying that have the same questions we all had while we were waiting... How long did (insert whatever here lol) take?
If you have a start date, do you think you could post a hiring timeline? Basically stating the job you've applied for and the dates you recieved crucial information. Maybe you could include some info that you think might be helpful to others, i.e., you tried to extend start date, trouble with background check, or you were part of a hiring event.

I'm all done with first week training, OJT, Dallas training, and have recently been signed off and I am now working on my own! 😀
First day training info will come by the Friday before your start date (at the latest). You wont have your Dallas info for a while. I found out my Dallas dates during my first week. Our CSAs found out a few weeks later. Just continue to be patient with the process. There is going to continue to be a lot of unknowns, but eventually you will find out, and they will give you plenty of notice.

I wouldn't say anything until 2 weeks before your start date. SW will at least give you that much time so that you can give notice. 🙂

The process is different for every individual. I had a friend that I made on this site who works at my station, and we both had very different experiences. I applied before he did, but he had a start date the week before me. Lol. His process went a lot quicker and smoother than mine.

Southwest Airlines ONLY posts their openings on the SW Careers page. Be cautious. There are a lot of 3rd party phishing/scam offers. All there openings will be posted there! Happy hunting! 😊

Don't lose hope! Sometimes they extend offers right away, and sometimes it will take a minute. I've seen posts about it happening both ways. Good luck and I hope you get an offer soon!

You can be first to know by signing up for the Talent Community on the Careers page, and signing up for alerts. FA is a hard one to land only because the posting is usually up for only a few hours, but they still recieve 10's of thousands of apps. Good luck!

You shouldn't worry about that. I would say focus on knowing 100% of those codes because you'll see/use them daily. After training, you'll be thrown right into situations where your knowledge of those codes are key.
