If you didn’t book though SW you would not get points on SW
the only exception is if you booked though the hotel chain directly and they let you choose to earn airlines miles instead of hotel loyalty points (no double dipping) for this you would need to contact the hotel company to see if they allow this

Am I understanding this correctly you think no one should sit next to you because you paid more than they did?
southwest has open seating on a full flight every seat will be filled the seat next to you could be filled right after you sit down or the last person to board they can choose any open seat.

If the flight is completely sold out I see availability within 24 hours because people will standby on earlier flights and some will miss connections or have delays that would cause a seat to open up on the flight you want.

Maybe someone has hacked your email where you get the confirmation receipt? Maybe change your email password
maybe reach out to customer relations by email and see if they can pull the IP address and see where it is being canceled from.

This is probably because of spring break fares for potentially busy seasons will be higher and as the date gets closer they might release some cheaper seats if the flight isn’t filling up.
if you can afford it I would book now and If the price goes down later you can get a flight credit to use on another flight. If you book the anytime or business select fare now you can get a refund and book the cheaper fare.

for domestic travel if you are under 18 you won’t need an ID to go though security regardless if the minor is traveling alone or with an adult over 18 years old. All they would say is they are under 18 the TSA agent might just ask how old they are and should be on there way

Points never expire I understand you might be mad with SW today but once you get stuck in DFW, PHL,IAH,ORD on those less fun and friendly airlines you could be back so just hold on to them or use them on family/friends

Was your flight to RSW? If so you can change your airport free of charge for flights though November 5th and you can change the date up to 30 days
example if you were booked AUS-RSW you could change to AUS-MCO, TPA, SRQ, MIA, or FLL no difference in fare.
Unfortunately if you were booked to fly in to a different airport those waivers have expired.

First off sorry for your loss.
If you are able to get in to the account don’t transfer the points that’s a waste of money just use the points for whatever flights you need until the points are gone then you could report it and have them close the account or don’t tell them and the account would just stay open without activity.

you could always try emailing customer relations and hope they can be nice and give you the promotion as a goodwill gesture but no guarantee doesn’t hurt to try though.

Maybe check the page for a highlighted area that you might have missed.
several people have missed the box for the CVV code make sure you enter all the info if it still gives you problems try calling reservations 800-435-9792 or try logged out to see if that helps as previously suggested

Unfortunately you would need to call reservations to see about splitting 2 people off and then have them reprice the flight for 2 people because as stated they probably only have 2 seats at the lower cost available and you are trying to change 4 people so your going to the next fare bucket
I wouldn’t cancel the whole reservation as your seats may go back at a higher price just to save on 2 people which in turn could lead to you paying more for the flight when rebooking.

Point to point booking (which is like 2 one way flights) would count as 2 flights (A-B B-C) however if you book a flight with a connection you only get 1 flight towards a list.

If you pre purchased the extra seat you can print the pass at the kiosk or you can get the reserved seat document from the gate agent
if your wanting to add the extra seat at the airport I would recommend doing it at the ticket counter to try and beat your flight from selling out or standby passengers already being accommodated on your flight by waiting to add it at the gate

If my bag doesn’t show up by the time all bags were on the belt for my flight I would look ok the other baggage belts because sometimes things end up in the wrong place.

So it said 25min to arrive well they prepare for landing starting 25min or more before landing depending on possible turbulence so yes on a quick flight you may have 1 chance and sometimes no chance that’s just how it goes.
maybe next time bring a refillable water bottle and once though security you can fill it up to drink wherever you need it

I notice once they release a new schedule the WGA fares are usually not available for sometime on peak days or times in your case spring break as others have stated check back or book the fare now and if it goes cheaper cancel and rebook
sometimes you just have to play the waiting game I’m not a fan of that game but when it could save me money I’ll play same with the checking daily or weekly to see if a price dropped takes time but if I can save money I’m all in.

With the paper vouchers take a picture and save it somewhere the ink will ware off on the vouchers overtime so be careful
as stated the best option if you want SW to keep track of the voucher in your account is book a flight then immediately cancel it. **Keep in mind if you book a WGA flight you will lose the transferability so if your not sure if you will use it or someone else book a WGA+ fare that way it would remain transferable.

Last year they did the promotion then about a week or 2 later they did those schedule changes I made changes after that and still qualified. The terms will always say changes may eliminate from qualifying but that is usually towards moving the flight outside of the travel by date otherwise you should be good if you complete travel by November 17th

Does it really work? I dunno, but you could use one of your own travel funds to buy a Plus ticket and then cancel it to see if it works. If it doesn't, you still have your original travel fund to use in the future.
I have tried it (without the intention to actually transfer funds) and it worked it gave me the option to transfer after I bought a WGA+ ticket with the standard WGA funds
