if you book a WGA ticket with a voucher you lose the transferability of the voucher, however you will not have an expiration date you can always book WGA+ to keep the transferability down the road should you need to use the funds on someone else later    also if you book a flight with the voucher it won’t cover taxes but you can book a flight pay the taxes immediately cancel and get a refund of the taxes to your Credit card and those travel funds will actually cover the taxes when you rebook so yes it’s an extra step to book cancel and rebook but that way it’s no actual money out of your pocket unless the voucher won’t cover the ticket cost    now with the promotion going on yes using the voucher will still count but remember you must register then book by tonight then fly by November 20th complete both flights  ... Perhaps a layover in other areas such as San Juan, Puerto Rico or other countries such as Aruba or Costa Rica (San Jose) would work. It may not be necessary to be THE final destination for the travelers. I suppose this assumes it is alright to fly over any other countries necessary such as Colombia, Venezuela, etc. to get to destinations such as Santiago, Buenos Aires, or Rio de Janeiro. ... Last year I made a gate change to a 6am flight from LAS to SMF about 30 before the flight in a virtually empty terminal and was given A18 out of 16 passengers on the flight. Out of 16 passengers, 13 were A List preferred. I guess those are the only people awake early in Vegas. ... View more

It’s frustrating to find that the open seating policy isn’t always applied consistently. During my recent flight, my wife and I found several seats being held for friends boarding in later groups, even though they were technically open. This seemed to contradict the idea of "open seating" and created confusion. So I’ve noticed some issues connecting on iPhone and the work around I have found to work is agree to the texting terms (for inflight texting) then go back to the WiFi page and see if it loads in my experience after I go to the texting it loads but that’s on iPhone.
