@sfarlow I think you could get around that by purchasing a ticket for the last date on sale currently add EB then you can change your reservation come the 30th when the new schedule is out as EB transfers with changes as long as you don't cancel and I don't think they will say you need to pay us more for EB should you be on the route that is $25 but I could be wrong. I know that's what people did back when the fee went up from $10 and up from $12.50 and it never made me pay more back then. Blake

@cledenham Being that they just had flight attendant hiring back in February I don't think it will be until next year but you never know. the best thing to do is check the Southwest careers site from time to time as you never know when they will post another listing for flight attendants. You can also check here in the community as I am sure they will post it here since it's such a popular topic here. You can also sign up for alerts on the southwest careers page. Hope this helps Blake

@clm678 I like that idea of adding a profile to your account as that would make booking for multiple passengers that you book for often way easier instead of typing names and all the info over and over and would expedite the booking process which can mean the difference between one fare and another if there are only 2 seats left at a price and you want both seats and someone else is booking at the same time as you then it's a first to hit book race. I would suggest you write an email or a letter as @CareforNOLA said that way Southwest gets it directly and can issue you a formal response even if it is just a thanks for the suggestion. So based on Hanifa's response it is telling me it is a seasonal change meaning it may come back at a later date so makes sense you won't be able to fly Southwest when they don't fly there but not to worry I imagine those flights will return and you can always come back when flights resume at a daily schedule so be sure to check back as schedules are released every 6-8 weeks and the flights you want may return. hope this helps Blake

If you bought the wanna get away fare those funds are non refundable and non transferable but you can reuse the funds to buy a new ticket within a year of original purchase date and only the traveler on the original reservation can use those funds if you bought the anytime or business select ticket you can get a refund as long as you have not made any changes to the flight. If you need to change its best to cancel get a refund and rebook if you booked one of these tickets. you can change or cancel as many times as you would like though for free (fare difference may apply) until the expiration date hope this helps Blake

Sorry your having trouble with the change usually when your trying to change be a flight and get an error it's usually a case of someone else got the cheap ticket before you so the price has gone up I have also seen some times where it won't allow a change because of an issue with the fare class i would recommend calling reservations at 800-435-9792 and they can see what the issue is did you use travel funds to buy your ticket? If so and you tried to change the date the funds may be expired hope this helps Blake

@tewilli I'm sorry you had a poor experience as already mentioned by @dfwskier no airline that I know of would issue a hotel or food voucher because of a weather cancellation. I heard from friends who were in STL that night and the weather was rough enough to flood a baggage claim area. I personally would be glad I was not at that baggage claim when that occurred. Also Sorry the terminal was cold that is controlled by the airport not the airline. If they rebooked you for several days out I would call back in case an earlier flight opened up from someone else canceling I would also recommend trying standby at the airport if you didn't make it yet as people miss connections all the time and you could possibly take that seat if there aren't a ton of people ahead of you on the list hope you made it! I personally have never seen a flight attendant hold rows for there stuff so not sure why they would have done that. I have seen times where they hold a row or 2 for passengers coming from a late flight to allow a family to sit together. I have also seen many times where they say you can't sit in certain rows because of weight distribution in the aircraft for flights that aren't full but I assume your flight was probably full coming from Vegas. if you would like to discuss with Southwest directly I would send them a message on Twitter or Facebook. you could also call customer relations at 855-234-4654 but wait times can be long at times Hope the next time you fly you get the seat you want! I think they may have decided to stop service from AUS to GCM it could also be a seasonal route but when i did a quick search I didn't see it in March or December so it could be gone for good. schedule changes are no fun but they do happen a lot so they can use those planes to fly to new places I wish they would fly to key west again too but must not have been a good market for the airline. hopefully it will come back though! @mallobkp 45min in LAS should be enough time if your first flight is on time. If your first flight is delayed say 25min or more talk to the gate agent at your departure airport or call reservations at 800-435-9792 and they could look at other options as that would only allow 20min or less to connect and the odds may be small that you could sit together since they could start boarding the connection flight 30min early. you could still make the connection but you would probably be in a middle seat and not together. i would also recommend looking on the Southwest app or website before you depart for your first flight to check where they think you will arrive at and where your next plane will depart and of course check when you land as those gates change all the time so you can be prepared. Southwest uses the B and C gates at LAS so it may be possible that you have to change terminals not a big deal just a walk. Also I would try to sit as close to the front as possible on first flight to help ease your mind of the 45min connection. hope this helps Blake

Sorry to hear your flights were canceled because of weather. It is important to know that weather is out of the airlines control so when weather hits there is not a whole lot they can do. I would recommend you call customer relations at 855-234-4654 so they can look In to your reservation and check to see if a refund is possible or if it had been processed. Sorry your bags were damaged and you didn't notice until after the 4 hour rule had passed I believe that rule is in place to prevent the oh the airline broke my bag when really it could have happened after you got home (not saying you would do that but some would) i am sure if you could report a day or 2 later you would have people that would do that to try and get a free bag. I would recommend contacting customer relations though so they can document the complaint by reaching out to Southwest in a DM on Twitter or by calling customer relations at 855-234-4654 they may not be able to replace the bags since time has passed but they can at least pass on the feedback for training Purposes Hope this helps Blake

By booking through Southwest you would NOT earn any hotel loyalty points nor would you get your status with the hotel chains because Southwest like Priceline is considered a third party. Now if you do make a green choice (declining housekeeping) or buy things at the hotel you can earn points for that. Some hotels will grant elite benefits when booking through a 3rd party but that is based on each hotels manager. Now about the points plus hotels I'm sure they could change as partners change often but I'm not too sure as I book my hotels directly with the hotel chain as most offer a best rate guarantee so should Southwest's price be cheaper you can file a claim with the hotel and get more hotel chain points or a bigger discount (depending on chain) hope this helps Blake
