@cdewolf wrote: and @Passenger1C and @elijahbrantley previously responded: Hi, First of all let me apologize if these 3 questions were asked recently. I did not see them in the forum : 1 - How can I get my Southwest Account name to match what I have just submitted to TSA Pre-Check and will it take affect in time for a flight on 12/26/18? To clarify on this one, changing your name on the account to match is a good idea, but won't retroactively change on tickets already purchased. If the two names aren't the same then you may struggle to have PreCheck on this particular flight. If you use Twitter you may want to reach out to @SouthwestAir to initiate a discussion about sycnchronizing, or call. Don't send your confirmation number or name until they ask for a direct message. Do you know that the two names are different in some way? 2 - How do I get my TSA KTN added to my Southwest Account and will it take affect in time for a flight 12/26/18? You'll have to calll, Twitter, or have it added at the ticket counter on your day of flight to add it retroactively to already purchased tickets. The name also has to match for this to work. 3 - Early Bird options. Traveling 12/26/18. We did not pay for EB at ticket purchase. For the best que placement should I ........ a) proceed with purchasing EB today? or b) just board with the family's after A since we are traveling with a 5yo child? As the others mentioned, the EBCI may or may not improve you over the family boarding. How many family members are traveling? Most likely family boarding would be fine, equivalent to position "A-61."

@dw0427 wrote: That's a crap response from Southwest. They can absolutely ask different questions to minimize the many that are now taking advantage of pre-board. Southwest is using the Federal regulations as a guise for they do not have the stones to change the policy for fear of bad publicity. As an A-List preferred Member and knowing that my status means nothing because of the ever increasing healthy folks taking advantage of the lax pre-board policy. Why bother frequently flying SW anymore? Seems to me other airlines are more stringent in pre-board than SW...... As a suggestion to SW, why do they allow the whole families of pre-board passengers to board at the same time? I don't mind those that are wheelchair bound but the countless folks that walk on the planes vs. disabled is evergrowing. airline personnel may not ask what specific disability the person has, but they can ask questions about a person’s ability to perform specific air travel-related functions, such as boarding, deplaning, or walking through the airport.

@MartaMay I wouldn’t know the details, but it sounds like you applied for the same job twice? That might be the reason why one application is “received “ and the other is under review? That’s interesting that you were able to apply twice though. I have read on previous discussions that the bi-lingual process takes time and is still ongoing. My advice to you is to stay positive and patient, and hopefully soon you will hear something. Good luck on your career path!

Hey everyone, thanks for the responses. The position was filled from within, I called Sarah and she said sometimes the email generates a different requisition number (It really didn't read "thanks, but not right now", lol, but it was, however, letting me know I didn't get the position). Ironically, I had applied for Ramp Agent as well, and about 2 weeks later, I received a call asking if I was still interested in that position. I have a F2F next week!!!

Hi @Talavera927,
Because the Bilingual Flight Attendant program is part of LODO program, which requires a different schedule and commitment than our normal position, we did open up a separate application process earlier this year for that position. The good news is that if you are selected as a Flight Attendant, you will have the opportunity to opt in for this program if you meet the qualifications and are interested. Best of luck!

@Kellyd what is the status of your FA application on your dashboard? I would start there first, then start to ask questions. What is your career interest with SW since you applied for another job? Practice patience and be careful about applying for more than one position since you have not heard anything. You don’t want to give the wrong impression that you are just applying to anything. Be passionate about one position at a time and show your interest. Good luck!

If you called and reserved a spot (note: I don't know anything about how that works) it sounds like you would be considered to have scheduled your pet according to the language, so if Southwest is keeping track of how many pets are reserved you should be fine?

@calhutch are the job postings still available to apply to? If yes, then I would think that you can start over. Honesty, it’s rare that an applicant “accidentally“ withdraws on 2 postings and then wants to be re-submitted. If no, the postings are closed, I don’t think much can be done.
