but if you are only paying the balance due you are paying an exhorbitant interest rate - far more than the points are worth.
If you carry a balance, you might be better off with a lower interest credit card.

You certainly have the right to fly with your service dog, and by your description of your situation you do need a service dog.
I hope you find a way to control your seizures, but if not you do have your 130 pound friend there to help out. A very good friend indeed.
All the best to you...

Since this is a customer frum, you won;t get an answer to your question here.
You could make the suggestion that the airline add the route. To do so click on "contact us" below and proceed.

There's nothing unclear about the process. The airline tells people that if they want to transfer points, they will have to pay a fee -- then the airline explains what the fee will be.
The only thing accurate about your post is the title because it really makes no sense at all to transfer points.

If so, Southwest would be about the only major carrier that does say "no" to this type of carry on.

I suspect what you are are forgetting is that the discount applies only to the base fares. Price of a ticket is composed of base fare+TSA fee + other fees (typically imposed by airports).
So Southwest eats those other fees and you get a discount on the base fare only.

Why is the question.
Shortage of planes is the answer. Boeing is coming up well short on plane deliveries while plane retirements continue. So the airline is forced to make route decisions based on where it can fly to get the most revenue.
Hopefukly if Boeing steps up deliveries in 2025 (it is not clear that it will do so ), then maybe the route will return.

One gets one Rapd Rewards points for every dollar spent. Sometimes there are promotions that provide more points than that.
Each point is worth roughly 1.3 cents -- that may change in the future.

So you are saying that HER RR points are being applied to your RR account -- AND YOUR RR points are also being added to your RR account? I've never heard of two card tied to two fwo different cardholders having point go to one RR account.
So just book her ticket with your (her) points.

You probably need to call the airline to make this kind of change.

The reason tfor that suggestion is that SW can do the cancel and add of your companion in real time -- minimizing the risk that someone else could grab the last seat on the plane - thus leaving your companion without a seat.
Other than that, you can cancel and then book your companion yourself.

Well, since Southwest didn't build the airport, there's not much the airline can do about the situation -- perhaps the airline will be able to get all of it's gates in one place at some time in the future. Absent that, it iis what it is.
I do agree with you that not having the flight tote boards show all Southwest flights is pretty dumb

Southwest changed my departing flight and it's now an hour and ten minutes later. I have a round trip flight and may have found a better flight on a different airline. If I were to cancel the departing flight, but keep the returning is that possible and does it change the cost?
Yes you can cancel the outbound flight and the cost of the return would not change. I'm not sure where the break point is delay wise between being able to get a refund vs a travel credit
.
Also, is it possible that Southwest will change the flight back to the original time?
Not likely, but anything is possible.

Second, Southwest tries to upsell EVERYONE to buy the A1-A15 boarding spots - including people that lmight already have A16. There's no conspiracy to give people bad boarding spots so that SW can upsell them.

I agree! I woke up this morning to both of our nonstop flights going to and coming back from Vegas being changed by 3 hours each in June.
In situations such as yours Southwest will allow you to make a nost cot change to your flight between the original two cities.
Log on to your RR account, try to change your flight for the same day and you should see that you can change to any flight with seats available for sale. The same should apply if you look at MDW departures..

Late to the discussion on this, but as a long-time A-lister, I am disappointed to no longer receive drink coupons in the mail periodically. It takes a lot of flying to achieve A-list status and while I can understand the desire to save $$ on postage, a periodic electronic credit for a beverage would be appreciated.
As a person who has been A-List for every single year that the program has been in existence. I agree that ti takes a lot of flying to get and keep the status.
But if you are A-List, how is it that you are just now complaining about something that changed over a year ago? If you fly at least 25 one ways a year, surely you should have noticed that the coupons were missing (multiple times) a long, long time ago.

The other theory is that (NOT hopefully) every month Southwest *discards* any spending above the next $5,000 threshold, and doesn't carry those dollars/points over to the next month. That would be a very unfriendly practice, but it could explain the discrepancy.
That is ridiculous.

Southwest has no idea what you spend on your Chase card.
Southwest just take orders from Chase to add RR points to accounts.
So, if there's a problem, you need to discuss it with Chase.

what does "change the pickup" mean? Date , city.??
IIf it's the date, then you do a ticket change and pay the difference in price between what you paid and what the fare is now (or get a flight credit if the current fare is lower).
If it's a city change, same as above.
In both cases you keep our existing confirmation number as well as your early bird purchase -if you purchased it.

The question should be how many of those 102.896 points were earned on Soutwest flights, rent cars, hotels, shopping, dining, eyc -- if you signed up you earned points beyond the dollars you spent. The point being you probably didn't spend 102,896 dollars.
