One question I have is.....are you absolutely sure that someone you know may not have used those points somehow? Is it at all possible?
I only ask because a friend of mine had her credit card "hacked." And she went through the whole process. And the credit card company gave her a similar vague response like you are receiving. That they could not tell her who used the card, but that it did not appear to be fraudulent.
Ultimately, after weeks of this, it came to light that her husband at the time was doing some shady things. He was buying stuff, and returning it for cash, and using cash for drugs and so on and so forth.
The point is....my friend was stunned. She was so insistent that she had been hacked. When she was asked by the company if there was anyone who could possibly be using her card, she emphatically told them no.
Anyway, their vagueness and non-urgency about this whole situation makes me wonder if this is a similar situation.

I am not in the market for another credit card, I'm really not.
I did receive a Southwest Credit Card offer, which I do receive from time to time, and I typically pitch. However, this offer seems really, really decent.
A small caveat- I am not a huge traveler. I do love to travel, but...with work and all that, I don't travel as much as I'd like. But, that said, it has more to do with the consistency. Last year, I traveled 4 or 5 times for short weekends. This year, however, my travel consisted of a beach vacation (drove) and an overseas vacation, which was obviously not Southwest.
I have some trips in mind for next year, but nothing in stone just yet.
I've been somewhat interested in a Southwest card for a while, but I don't anticipate going for Companion Pass or anything. I've been waiting for an amazing deal to come along, but nothing has really piqued my interest until now.
I received an offer for 50,000 points, which to be fair, not a ton of points, but it's only $1,000 spending the first 3 months, which is very doable. To me, I find 50K for 1,000 spending preferable to say 75K for 3,000 spending.
50,000 points could go a long way for me. If I look for the deals and price things out, I could find some RTs for around 14K. Conservatively, that could end up being a $450 value.
Thoughts? Would you jump on this 50K offer? Should I hold out for a better one?

I have done many flight changes over the year and never run into this before. Is this normal? I had a flight, which the total price comes to $140. I was needing to change it. So, there were some flights I was looking at which if I was booking as a new flight, they were $49-$59 each way. Yet for some reason, when I tried to change my flight to those same flights, it was saying +$20 or + $10 or whatever. How is that possible? Like I said, I've done many flight changes before, and they have always came out to the same price in comparison to what a new booking would be.

So, I was under the impression that there really isn't any way to tell how full a WN flight is. However, my mother insists that her uncle showed her on his phone how to look up how many empty seats are available. Of course, she doesn't remember how to do it. And, like I said, I was pretty sure that this wasn't an option. Is there some secret trick that I am unaware of?

We are getting ready to leave on a flight, and we are traveling with my 4-year old nephew. 3 of us got an A boarding pass, but the 4 year old got a B boarding pass. I know there is the option to wait for Family Boarding. But, what are the chances that they will allow the 4 year old to board with us? Obviously, he can't wait and board by himself, not that we would let him, but still. Probably just one of us would wait with him; and honestly, I don't mind. I just didn't want to try it and cause any issues at boarding if it wasn't allowed. Next question would be: does the child need to be IN the stroller to be checked at the gate? I only ask because it would probably be easier for the 2 people NOT boarding with the child to handle the stroller and what not, versus 2 people boarding, and then 1 person dealing with boarding with a toddler and the stroller situation.
