I don't know much about credit cards but my best guess is that $200 off your flight was never meant to be used "immediately". The $200 could have been a statement credit that's applied to your first billing statement after you make the (full price) flight purchase. --Jessica

Southwest is running a sweepstakes to celebrate their 50th birthday on June 18 - you can register at the site below and enter once a day to win prizes! I won 50 Rapid Rewards points today! You can win anywhere from 50 to 50,000 each day - or win nothing, of course, but why think negatively. 😉 On the 18th they are really going all out and you can win Companion Pass, or a $500 gift card, or up to a million RR points! Good luck everyone! https://southwest50.com/wannagetaway/ --Jessica

Tell me about it, that was my biggest fear with my Nashville trip because my hotel was about 20 miles from the airport, and the festival I attended another 10 miles from there. I had real concerns I was going to be stranded or miss my flight going home if I couldn't find a ride. Or pay enormous amounts for a taxi. --Jessica

I never heard back from them. That's the first time it's ever happened as they are normally so responsive. I hope this doesn't become the norm! --Jessica

I flew last weekend, and will fly again this weekend, and I flew several times last year, and I've never felt safer flying Southwest. I don't know about these unruly passengers on other airlines, but I've never seen anything like that on any of the flights I have taken. If you follow the rules and wear your mask, you won't have any problems. --Jessica

Hello, Travel funds are not automatically applied - you need to select that you want to use travel funds during the booking process and enter your name and confirmation number for the travel funds to be applied. If you did not apply the travel funds, you would have had to enter your credit card information to pay and complete the checkout process. If you booked less than 24 hours ago, you can cancel your flight, get a credit card refund, and book again using your travel funds. --Jessica

Hi, I was looking at My Account and noticed a section towards the bottom of the screen for "Past 10 Flights" with a "View Receipt" option - the receipt shows your fare total, points you earned, your routing details, the date you flew, and some other info. Is this new? I know people have complained in the past about Southwest not offering detailed receipts, and this may be a solution for those who need a receipt for their flights for business or accounting purposes. It would be even better if it showed your total flight history instead of just your last 10 flights! --Jessica
