You can pre-board; however, you must request that prior to boarding. If you forget to request it at baggage drop-off, try asking the desk closest to the gate for assistance.

That happens to me all the time. All apps. Not just SWA's app.
I usually discover that I just need to go to the app store and update to the most recent version. If that doesn't work, delete the app entirely and then re-install. That should fix it about 95% of the time.

@TheMiddleSeat - I selected Wanna GetAway but my ticket says, 'Anytime,' so for whatever reason, my travel agency selected the Anytime. I'm definitely not complaining.

Thanks. My boarding pass says, 'Anytime.' When scheduling through my company's preferred scheduling portal, I only see 'Wanna Get Away' and 'Wanna Get Away Plus.' I'm not sure how I selected it but your answer makes complete sense. Thank you! I've been gifted A List status once so I wasn't sure if this was something similar.

I was preparing to check-in 24 hours before my flight but was surprised to find a message saying I couldn't check-in because I selected Early Bird check in. Thing is... I didn't choose Early Bird check-in. Could it be that SWA does this randomly for customer because I certainly wouldn't have paid for it.
