Colorado is known for the miles and miles of trails in the mountains.  Many small towns put on running trails races of different distances, 5k to 50 miles or more.  You get to see some of the best views and scenery in the state.  I've done these types of races all over the country.  In fact, it's one of the primary reasons I fly SWA, to get to these destinations.  IF there is something specific you would need me to clarify, let me know.  ... It's good you mention this encounter and SWA can learn going forward.  I've heard so many different messages over the years from F.A., some corny, some informative, some funny, some obnoxious.  But it is what it is for me.  Now depending on the age of the children, maybe they aren't able to make the connection and it just rolls off their backs.  If they are old enough, then I'm sure it isn't something they have already been exposed to on daily news, on the internet, or wherever.  Does this make it appropriate for it to be announced on an SWA flight, no?  I can't even start to count the number of times I wish I had my words back, it happens.    ... Agree with the skier.  I've had multiple nonstop flights changed over the past several months.  As fares pick up, more non-stop flights should be opened.  IM HOPING.  Just like the multiple other things we have had to adjust to during this time, this is yet another one. ... View more

Bring back direct flights from Albuquerque to;  El Paso, Wichita, and Tucson, please.  For the first 2, it doesn't make sense to spend more time flying than it would to actually drive to those cities.  I know I will take advantage of this flight to Steamboat, as there are many trial races in that area and now won't have to drive from Denver.   ... My comment is, the dog wins.  You will not get any different accommodation on other airlines than was offered by SW.  If I thought you would get different treatment, then I would say, you win.  You probably will have a satisfying feeling of getting back at SWA by changing flights and to each their own.  Just be ready to also shell out hundreds of more dollars a year for checking your bags.  Have a wonderful day,  ... I would agree with, DFWskier, if your bad was plane and similar to many others.  And sometimes people get conscious and return them.  I had a similar situation with leaving my fanny pack int he seat.  Although I did get my fanny pack returned with license, credit cards, house, and car keys...everything except the estimated $500 in cash.   Could be a good time for all airlines to "expand" their security cameras to be able to see all angles and more of a panoramic view of all baggage claim areas.  Not making excuses, but in these uncertain times when people are just a bit more desperate, maybe even saving money on diapers can make a person do something they don't normally do.  I know this doesn't make the issue any better, I just wanted to give my perspective.  Losing a laptop hurts!! ... I agree that this is an extended length of time.   Sorry to hear this happened.  But EVERYONE should expect longer waits for everything these days, I've accepted it.  Still have to wait outside at the grocery market even today.  No problem.  But maybe a suggestion that SWA does like other businesses I've called and allowed me to get on a "CALL BACK" option.  That way I can do what I need to be doing and I get a callback.   ... I'm personally telling you, Masks do work!  Since I don't live in Chicago I can't answer that, each state has a protocol in place when you land, or not.   Just depends on when you land, and how you may be able to get by.  I would say that 80% of the people who fly are like you, sadly, that 20% who aren't are why this is an issue.  Since it is a mandate presented by the Governor of the state, SWA has no control over it.  ... Not related, but did I miss something, SWA is flying to CABO?  I tried booking a flight to Cozumel last week and kept getting, SW doesn't fly on the days I put in.  I was thinking they aren't flying to Mexico yet.   And the dates were in October I was putting in.   ... View more
