I would dispute any charge like this when I do not believe the service has value.
That is my point.

File a written dispute with your credit card carrier. You can either write a letter or use an online form and indicate that you have no knowledge of the charge. Indicate that you did not make the charge and let them figure it out from there.

This was a STUPID (they probably spell it "stoopid") decision by Southwest. If you buy Internet, it used to be for the entire day, not it is per flight.
If it is per flight, the price should have dropped accordingly. Of course, they kept the price the same and upcharged the consumer.
My suggestion is to dispute the charge as those "user agreements" are not as solid as you think, including when you look at what they want you to "agree" to.
The Holiday DISASTER will follow Southwest around for a long, long time and will basically wipe out any earnings for 2023, unless they fully reserve for the cost in 2022 which they will likely do.

There is no advantage to adding yet another complication to a transaction. When booking flights, use your credit card and leave Apple Pay in the drawer.
Several posts have come across with the same complaint.

Start by filing a damage claim with Southwest. I would have no idea why everything would be soaked unless it rained at your origin or destination and the bags were outside for a long time.

Pre boarding has been discussed since the dawn of recorded time. Learn to like it because it is not going away and no one is going to have to prove their disability.
You "self identify" with a disability and you preboard.

If you study law, you will discover that a goodwill adjustment or gesture of goodwill from a publicly traded company is regarded as compensation. The reason that the law sees things this way is that gifts are not the purpose of their existence.
Whether I was impacted by the Holiday DISASTER is irrelevant to the discussion at hand.

This is not a "gift". It is Southwest's attempt to compensate people for their trouble. No for profit corporation with shareholders gives gifts of this size. The move is to smooth over the Holiday DISASTER.
Southwest is not your uncle Charlie. They are trying to mitigate damages and if the rewards points have not been received after repeated attempts, you do have other options.

File a written dispute with the credit card carrier. You have protections under Federal law. Fraudulent charges are not just from merchants, they may be applied to the bank itself.

At this point, I would consider other options.
Southwest knows every single person who was impacted by the Holiday DISASTER and adding 25,000 points to their rewards could have been done within a couple of days. There is no excuse for this.
We know from the story shared by Forbes that Southwest is expecting this DISASTER to cost them about $855 MM, pretty much the same as all of the money they made in 2021.

There is no "family pre-boarding", only "family boarding". Family boarding occurs between group A and B. For you to have family boarding, you must have an individual under the age of seven. Then, that individual can be accompanied by up to two adults.
The first people on the plane are pre-board who self-declare a disability that requires a specific seating arrangement.

In my opinion, this is risky. You have yet another handoff of your luggage that can only add delays and mistakes to the system.
Give the bags to the check in agent and save one more opportunity for mistakes.

Tell the baggage claim agent the same story. See what accommodations they will make.
To suggest a wheelchair need only to avoid baggage costs would be a violation of Southwest's policy and is a systematic fee avoidance maneuver.
Honesty here is the best policy, as always.

It is unfortunate as you should have received your bonus points long ago. At the core of this Holiday DISASTER is an outdated system that was wobbly and could crash, and did.
Recently Southwest warned of losses in the first quarter as their estimate was a cost of about $855 MM for the DISASTER, which is approximately equal to all of 2021's earnings.

I was looking at the last fully published financial statements for Southwest Airlines for the year ended December 31, 2021 published May 2022 . We should have their 2022 financial statements in May 2023.
Here's a few observations as well as the link to those financial statements.
In 2021, Southwest earned about 6 cents on every dollar of revenue after taxes.
In 2021, Southwest had less than a year's annual revenues as cash.
In 2021, Southwest had accumulated net earnings worth about a year's annual revenues in today's dollars.
