You can also let the flight attendant know you're a bit anxious -- they'll do what they can to take care of you with the SWA LUV. Additionally, try distracting yourself in the moment as much as possible. Hope everything goes smoothly,

Personally, in situations like these, I always DM on Twitter as I find the team there replies within minutes. Obviously with a crazy volume that can be longer, but worth the shot!

Pretty sure baggage check usually opens 4 hours prior to the flight. You can have the missing luggage folks get it, but yes, you do run the risk of something happening - a risk that's taken everytime your luggage is out of sight.

Congrats on Companion Pass! I kinda wish, similar to other flight search engines, you could see similar cities (i.e. Newark (when it was around) and LGA) in one view. I've requested it via the Contact Us button and social media, and hope you do too.
