Thanks for the heads up on this. Regardless of the promotion, I always sign up for everything, you just never know. I don't know why it took me so long to auto-bill all my utilities and other payments to one credit card and accumulate points for things I will have to pay anyway. THE KEY, it to pay in full each month as I have done for over the past 10 years with the card, (except about 4 times I forgot to pay on time) and haven't paid any interest.

THANK YOU, for your service to our country. It might be something to bring up with customer relations, but as stated by Chicago, it has been a policy for some time, (taking his word on it) Sounds like a policy that might be looked at if you press the issue politely.

I totally agree, we don't know the entire story, and if it was just about taking masks off to eat some peanuts or whatever. What I don't condone is posts that try and lead you to a decision before all the facts are presented.

hey Sweetie-D, please post your upcoming flights, as it seems you're the common denominator of flights that people don't wear masks on, I DON'T, want to be on the flights you seem to fly. Let's not overcomplicate this, I've been on 8 flights, getting on another this Friday, and I'm sure that I won't see any issues of folks wearing masks.

Great information. I've already moved my statement due date to around the 24th of each month, so now it looks like I need to move it to the 28th. I'm assuming that it will still be added although after the new year. (Normally takes a few days to see in my points after the billing cycle date) That's an easy fix if you just request Chase to move your billing date to later in the month, they do that in less than a minute. And normally, December is a big points month for me with Christmas. Thanks for the heads up.

Wow, I didn't know this about the 36 hours in advance, I've made some bookings just prior to the 24-hour check-in. But even when I book months out, I still call SWA to have someone check me in any way, you just never know.

I've not had any issues with getting movies? But then again, I don't watch them I normally watch the TV stations...ESPN. But when i do have connections issues, it's a sign that I just need to get a nap, so I do.

How about surprising us with going to an airport city that there isn't already an option to fly to...LIKE, Sioux City, IA, Missoula, MT, Fargo, ND, anywhere in Canada or Alaska. I'm sure this move will benefit people like, Blake, and others. Keep thinking outside the box SWA and get us to more places.

It might help if you define what the parameters are that qualify as "best." Some have great food, others not so much, some still have a terminal rental car pick up. WHICH I LOVE, (I hate being shuttled 15 min to get my car) some have easy drop off access to ticketing, others are finding a ticket counter nightmare...

Since I love to travel, any airport I'm flying in to, because that means I'm traveling. I seem to favor those in Mexico....that means I'm in Mexico.

Not sure where you are at? I have friends all over the country who travel, and we talk, and they all can get a test upon their returns and within 2 days, 48 hours, the results. One, a doctor friend, gets a rapid test and knows within hours upon return. According to the President, there should be millions of free testing for anyone that wants one anywhere in the country?

like you, I wish they would fly to the upper midwest states or at least contract with somebody. Not sure why the took off Mexico City, but I'm not in the industry and appreciate that over the past several years have opened up more places than they use to...i.e., Hawaii, Cozemul Mexico... both I will visit when it's safe to do so

I had my dream trip to Cozumel cancelled and no flights as of yet until April are going. my trip is banked for a future trip. But it is what it is. I wonder why Cozumel hasn't been added back on as you can do Cancun and Cabo? But I roll with the flow until a vaccine is ready.

I was a traveler by air for years before I found out that every so often each airline updates their flight reservations for the future, even more so during this pandemic. With that said, you (and I) should expect that based on supply and demand, (along with economics) we will e seeing flight readjustments until after the first of the year. We all need to take it with a grain of salt. I can say I've had multiple canceled destinations and all trips with some type of time change, including connecting flights. Do I like it, NO, have I accepted it, Finally.

Since the beginning of COVID, it's been well documented that each time a new flight schedule comes out, there could be flight changes, you just accept that. With the low fares, I went crazy making reservations. However, all but 1 have had some type of flight change, which I have then gone in and make changes that fit my preference. It's just the norm right now.

Today the funding to keep workers on from the government will end. As much as I see complaints right now from people on call waiting issues, flight change issues, and so on, I can only imagine what it would be like if we didn't have the full staff that is on duty now. I want to thank you for holding us together as well as you have in these crazy circumstances that are no fault our yours or SWA. I just want to say, please, hang in there. I think the general public is about to find out how important having every SWA team member really is.

Here is my solution to both of you. Since you need a negative test 72 hours prior to your leaving for Hawaii, get the test in your hometown 72 hours prior to leaving and take it with you. If it's positive, DON'T FLY. If it's negative, take that report with you and be on your way at ease the entire route and stay in Hawaii.

I just got a call as well for a flight time changed. And at least they offer the opportunity to get a full refund. I think they should give you a bit more time to reply. It's not like I have to just stop and research. But i do understand the need for a confirmation on my end.

Since I've given praise for many areas of SWA doing their best during the COVID issue, I'm going to say this: We are lining up in numbers of 10. There are 10 blue dots for us to line up on. Why can the ticket person just try and remind folks that they must line up on those dots and line up in "NUMERICAL" order? I've seen this on every flight. Number 1-10 called, a couple of people line up as not many are doing early check-in or business select due to no middle seat. They board, then 11-20 is called and 10 people line up? If only 2 got on with business select and early bird, there would be a vacant 11-15 and only 5 should be lining up? and then anything after 20 they don't line up they instead congregate right next to the ticket caller 1 feel apart or less and don't get on the dots. And those that do, don't' go by the numerical order. I was A 21, and when we got called to line up, the first 7 dots were already taken. Ok, thanks for listening.

totally agree with your assessment on this. but that damage doesn't have to be because not just one, the majority of bag handlers don't give a hoot about your bag or items. It's like the police, they know if they are sued the city pays for the settlement, so lives the baggage handler, they know you the passenger assume the risk of putting your bag on the belt, they will never pay.

DFWskier got most of my points. I've read so many threads and posts about the SW Travel issues that, even though I love SWA, this is their Achilles heel. But on the side of SWA, it's an outside agency, not SWA.
