I did not recieve my official offer letter until a few days after I confirmed my start date. You will be 'under review' the whole time. You are not done with the process, but you really won't get any information from the dashboard anymore. Even after you get that official offer letter and start date, there will still be things you need to do and fill out. Just give it time. Everyone has a different process and timeline, which is why we share them. 🙂

In your email it states, at the latest, the Friday before your start date you will have the info you need. You just have to keep being patient. In the meantime, continue to prep for that city code test!

It does depend on the circumstances. You'll have to find out if you are even eligible to reapply. How you would find that out, I don't know. Find the number for headquarters and keep asking around, or just go to your station and see if you can just talk to someone.

I knew when I was going to Dallas during my first week. The CSAs in my class, did not know about their Dallas plans until a lot later. I didn't know what my exact flight plans were until a week or so before I left. Hotel info was given to us a few days before we left.

There are some airports that do have a last flight and shut down for the night. And the flight schedule will fluctuate with the season too, so that may not always be the case.

Schedules arent very flexible. We will be at the bottom of the senority list, so we get whatever is leftover unfortunately. At some stations, mandatory overtime is a certain reality. OT is almost always available. At my station, the operation is 24/7, so there are start times every hour or so. Right now, I'm on 0445-1315. After I come back from Dallas, I'm pretty sure I'll be moved to nights. I'm not sure when the next bid is, so that will be my schedule for who knows how long. I don't know of anyone that works a second job at my station, so I am no help there. The work is tough, but I think you'll be okay.

Well, if they aren't answering, you just have to wait it out. This process is full of periods of time where you won't know what the heck is going on and no one is answering, but rest assured, you will eventually get an answer. You just have to be patient. You'll always be waiting for something during this process, even after you're hired. 😉

Give it a try. The worst thing that can happen is they say 'no'. If you don't want to risk it, just wait until the vax requirement goes away. Who knows if/when that will ever happen though. Either way, good luck and don't give up!

And have your computer ready as soon as that posting goes up (if it really does). The postings for In-flight (Flight Attendants) are usually only up for a few hours, so don't assume it'll be there later.

At my station, the class that just got back had to be at work bright and early at 6am on Friday. I think they got back late the evening before, too. It really does depend on your station.

You'll get that info for that while you're in class. They'll show you where to find the general info on the employee website. I'm in the same boat... engaged, but been together for years. To register them for flight benefits, it is a simple process. Don't worry. They will be taken care of. 😀

In your emails it should say they'll reach out, at the latest, the Friday before your start date. You still have to be patient. Lol. Even when you get your SIDA info, you might still have to wait for first day info like I did. 😂
