Hello From the southwest website: We are currently accepting air reservations through November 3, 2018. On May 31, 2018 we will open our schedule for sale through January 6, 2019. This date is subject to change! Please check back frequently. in regards to travel to MCO I would recommend going from LAX or SAN (San Diego) I have flown on a non stop from SAN and it has been great usually cheap and only about 4.5 hours on the way to Orlando. LAX doesn't usually have a non stop flight that I have seen but it does have one two or three stop no plane changes which would mean you just stay on the plane but keep in mind you may be on the plane for a really long time if you choose one of the two or three stop no changes and if there isn't a lot of time between the stops you may not be able to use an airport bathroom or get food for hours so I would pack snacks for that long of a flight and prepare to be on a plane for a while. If the only options are two stop or three stop no change or a layover I would pick the layover just so I can not be on a plane for so long but that's just me. Hope this helps Blake

Hello I am not aware of a program to prepare someone with a disability for a flight. My recommendation is to show up to the airport early and talk with the gate agent and then the ops agent who takes your ticket then I would introduce the child to the FA's and captain this might help the child feel better about flying and that way the crew is aware so they can try to check on the child to see how he/she is doing and if they need anything like a drink or snack to help them. I do know for security purposes you can call the TSA ahead of time and they can help as I know that security might be frightening for the child as well. They have a Special department for that and I will try to find the phone number for that department so you could call them if you would like. I would pre board so there is extra time for getting settled and then things should go smoothly. Back In the day my brother was scared of flying so the first time we got hi. On a plane we introduced him to the crew and he felt better and then they made sure he was good throughout the flight hope all goes well Blake

For those who's devises are not compatible with the updates I would just recommend using the full website you can check in on the full website and have a boarding pass texted to you from there as well.

Hello from what I have seen on flights people do carry them on without any problems that I have seen and they just lay it on top of other bags you don't want to put it on the bottom or your dress will get squished and possibly damaged. I don't think there are any closets for you to store the dress in but laying in the overhead bin should work just fine if you place it on top of bags. congratulations and hope all goes well with flying with the dress! One thing to keep in mind is other airlines charge you to cancel your ticket and if the funds expire your out of luck as all tickets have an expiration date with all airlines so getting some to me is better than getting none which is what you would get from other airlines. But as @chgoflyer said it's an unpublished policy and they can change it at any time and it's not a guarantee that they will make the exception to offer an extension for a fee.

Hello Sorry to hear you left your phone on the plane I know I would be upset if I did that myself. I would try calling the lost and found at the airports and maybe they can help otherwise if you didn't fill out a lost item report with southwest I would do that and hopefully they find your phone. I know planes go though a deeper cleaning overnight so my guess is it might have been found over night and it would go through processing to get to the lost and found office so if you call the airports and they say they don't have it don't lose hope as it may Ben in transit to the lost and found and they may contact you in a week or 2 hope you get your phone back Blake

Hello Happy birthday Sorry your birthday was reunited because of a flight delay which got made up and ended up leaving close to on time as well as the delay and gate changes I know that when you book the wanna getaway fare you must pay the difference in fare to move to a different flight now I know if the delay is more than 1 hour you can call reservations and they can make a one time change for free if other flights are available. I would recommend calling customer relations to discuss your flight problems at 855-234-4654 or you can email from the southwest website by clicking on the contact us link at the bottom of the home page. You could also try to reach on on twitter or Facebook in private message also about that voucher that no one receives I have actually received those vouchers before by email with no problem if you were suppose to receive one and didn't I would check your spam folder or reach out to customer relations and they can research what happened with the voucher and re send if needed. If they issued you the voucher today or a few days a go it can take up to 2 weeks to get the voucher. hope this helps Blake

Hello Southwest tickets are not transferable. As @franktravel said if you booked less than 24 hour a go you can cancel request a refund if you paid with a credit card and re book but you will have to pay the fare at the time of booking the new ticket if it has been more than the 24 hours that person who can't go will have a credit for future travel and you would need to buy a new ticket for the other person if the original ticket was points the points will go back to the account which bought the ticket and the security fee can be refunded if you had not changed your ticket previously which then you can rebook for the new person. If you booked an anytime or business select fare it is refundable hope this helps Blake

My thinking on why they don't release the schedule so far out has to do with the amount of changes they may have to make for example delta and the others have the schedule out a year in advance but I have noticed they have a lot of schedule changes so you book a 1pm flight it may end up being noon or 2pm which I think the airports and the FAA have to do with those changes but I am not sure but I would be interested to know why only 6 months out

Hello sorry to hear about your recent experience with Early Bird check in early bird check in does not guarantee a specific boarding group as there is no limit to the number of people who can buy Early Bird about the number of families there is no way to know how many of those will be on your flight until boarding but sorry if there were so many on your flight if you would like to discuss with a southwest representative you can reach out on Facebook or Twitter in a private message or you can call customer relations at 855-234-4654 or email them online by clicking on the contact us link on the bottom on the southwest homepage hope this helps Blake

Hello i would recommend buying the Early Bird check in so that you will be automatically checked in and your chances of being towards the front will be better or you could wait until you get to the airport and pay for upgraded boarding if it's available and it will make you one of the first 15 people after pre boarders so you should be able to get one of the first few rows also by buying one of these options it will increase your chance of seats together because if you end up in the late B or C group you may be separated as it's usually only middle seats open at that point. i have noticed mid cabin seats seems to be calmer to me during turbulence flying isn't to bad just arrive early and relax bring a book or something and the flight should be great hope your flight goes well and feel free to write back after the flight to let us know how it went Blake

I would talk to the gate agent and maybe they would be able to give you the extra time boarding which is between the A and B groups which isn't a guarantee. but as @chgoflyer said you may not technically qualify for pre boarding according to the pre boarding policy but I would talk to the gate agent and they should be able to help you in the best way. hope this helps Blake

@Lrg55 i would recommend calling southwest customer relations at 855-234-4654 and talk to someone there about your recent flight delays I know they are no fun but they are the best with helping making things right with lengthy delays if they are Southwest's fault you could also send an email from the southwest website by clicking on the contact us link at the bottom of the homepage. I would also recommend editing your post to remove your email and rapid rewards number which is for your own protection as they won't be able to resolve customer service issues here. hope this helps Blake
