hello i personally have not heard of a can't sit in the last 3 rows rule but I do know people have to be spread out a bit for weight reasons so I am guessing they had a reason but usually when there are 30 people on the plane I don't go to the very back but instead mid cabin near exit row area was it just you in your party? Maybe if there were 2 or 3 in your party that would mess up the weight the other thought is there is a lot of weight in the back with drinks and FAs (they are light but each FA adds up) and other equipment so maybe that's why you had to sit in the 4th row from the back forward But hey on the bright side you can get a row to yourself if you want it. hope this helps Blake

Hello there are a couple of ways you can check in and go through security allow me to explain You can use your phone as your boarding pass so when you check your bags you can check in at the counter by just giving them your name and ID you won't need to show them your mobile boarding pass you can then go on to security and you would then present your phone and scan your phone with the TSA agent and your ID and you can proceed to your gate or grab food. Once it's time for boarding you can then pull up your boarding pass and line up with your group A B or C and find your place in the line 1-30 on one side and 31-60 on the other side of the poles. You can then scan your pass with the ops agent and you will be good to go. If you have a connecting flight be sure you are scanning the correct pass. It's also best to have your brightness all the way up when you go through security and when boarding that way the scanners can read the pass and say your good to go. If you want to use the mobile boarding pass I would recommend taking a screenshot of the pass that way you don't have to worry about the app logging you out when you need the pass or if you get a delay and the pass jumps off of your app. alternatively you can walk up to the check in counter and give them your name and ID and ask for a printed boarding pass which you can then use at security and again at the gate for boarding. I do this just in case my phone were to fight me and then I would be holding up people so by having the paper pass I can just go here you go and be on my way should my phone act up. You can have both the mobile pass and printed boarding pass and it won't hurt anything just pick which one you want to scan. Hope this helps Blake

Anyone who has the confirmation number and a name on the reservation can print the boarding passes and you can access the passes online as many times as you would like. when you check in online it will pull up all boarding passes associated with that confirmation number so if you only want to print 1 or 2 passes be sure you change the print setting to print only page (x-x) that way you don print all the passes just to get yours. Each pass will be it's own page so if your pass shows up 4th you would want page 4 unless you have a business select ticket which has drink coupons. You can also check in at the airport and print it at the kiosk if you don't want to deal with the big piece of paper you would have at home. Hope this helps Blake

On a points booking the security fee is refundable as long as you have not made a change to the reservation prior to canceling the trip. If you did make a change to the reservation then as @DancingDavidE said the funds would be held under the confirmation number for the person who was going to be flying. Hello On May 31, 2018 southwest will open the schedule for sale through January 6, 2019. This date is subject to change! Please check back frequently. so what about February flights? After doing a quick search there is a 1 stop no plane change no non stops from PHX to CHS Monday through Friday on the current schedule I'm not sure exactly when the next schedule change occurs but if you know the date you want to know about I can give you a more accurate answer as to if a non stop or a direct (no plane change) flight exists or you can check out the schedule on the southwest website. hope this helps Blake

Sorry you are having issues using PayPal to pay for southwest tickets i have used PayPal to pay for tickets multiple times without issue in the past few months are you using the full website on a computer? I have never had any problems changing a companion pass flight with seats available. Also by the website saying 2 anytime and 2 business select tickets that means there are only 2 seats as they will sell them both as long as the 15 business select tickets were not purchased already so it is possible that the app didn't have the most up to date availability if someone just bought a ticket over the phone or elsewhere. maybe next time call southwest at 800-435-9792 and they could tell you if seats were available and they should be able to make the change if the seats are in inventory. I actually had one experience where I booked the last wanna bet away ticket and they only ticket left was an anytime fare and I was able to add the companion no problem Hope this helps Blake

If so you may need to call reservations at 800-435-9792 and ask them to refresh your reservation (delete and re add your RR number) I know when I earned A List for the first time I had to do this on all my upcoming flights that I had booked then as I was not A List when I booked those flights so the system thinks I am just a regular passenger. Maybe do call and ask them to do this anyways even if you earned A List back a year or more a go as it won't hurt anything and might fix the glitch hope this helps Blake

I had one time I had to get southwest to add my KTN number and when I went to check in again I did lose my boarding pass I think it's a case of someone checked in in the quick min process glad you didn't lose your pass though. But I learned make sure to have that number on every reservation before check in time so I don't have that issue again or if I have to add it after check in take a screen shot of my boarding pass before doing the process again. So what from what I have read it sounds like you may be a victim of Southwest's NO SHOW policy. That policy is if you don't cancel a ticket that you do not plan to travel on at least 10min prior to departure your reservation all flights will be canceled and you would lose your funds being that you were a points ticket the $5.60 or $11.20 would be held as a travel fund under your confirmation number and points would be returned to your account. With that being said I do believe that your return trip (if on the same confirmation number) was canceled as well that policy is on the confirmation email they send out as well as on the pricing page when booking airline tickets. If your ticket is canceled you would then need to book a new ticket at the current price which will probably be more expensive when you say you are out an additional 6,798 points are you saying when they canceled your flight the points for the return didn't go back in to your account or because that's the difference in points to rebook? If you canceled the going flight your return should still be booked as long as you or the agent on the phone didn't cancel the whole reservation. The best way to see if your flight reservation exists is to call southwest at 800-435-9792 and they can look up your confirmation number they can also tell if you were a NO SHOW or not. sorry to be the bear of bad news on this. Refunds can take up to 2-3 billing cycles to show up on your debit/credit card statement Also if she said she was issuing a refund it could takes up to a month to process it had to be approved by the financial team and that takes time same with if you send in documents. Also wanted to add you will know that EB was on your ticket by looking at your boarding pass when you check in (starting at the 24 hour mark) it usually says early bird check in on a printed boarding pass as well as on the computer when checking in. Blake

Just wanted to add it can tale up to 10 business days to process the new companion after you make the change so you will want to make the change as soon as travel with the first companion is complete so it will be set for your November trip and you will get a new companion pass card in the mail.
