As I usually do, I just checked my upcoming itineraries for lower fares, and had a hit on one leg for a little over 1000 points. I went through with the change and received a confirmation email. However, my points balance is not reflecting any signs of a refund. My points activity SAYS that I was refunded, however my points total has not changed and is identical to the points total Southwest sent me in my Rapid Rewards account statement 10 days ago.
I'm initiating a support chat on Twitter now, but just wanted to send a heads up to other folks to watch your balances.

A couple of months ago, I had $300+ in flight credit to use so I used that + cash to purchase Wanna Get Away airfare for my wife and I to CUN in March for her birthday celebration.
Well, I'm gonna achieve Companion Pass by the end of this month (800 points away) so naturally I am going to want to cancel her ticket and rebook her as a companion. If I upgrade her flight to a WGA+ fare beforehand, can I transfer the credit to myself (from her account) after cancelling? Or will some policy prevent me from transferring the cash from her ticket back to me?

Came here to post this as I just happened to see the fine print at the end of the rapid rewards statement email they just sent.
“Notice: Starting on January 1, 2024, for flights purchased using Rapid Rewards points, the number of Rapid Rewards points required per dollar of base fare will increase by approximately 4%. This change will not affect Rapid Rewards Members who book travel prior to January 1, 2024.”

I have an even better one. Beware of Southwest changing your itinerary months in advance (ok cool... I understand that).... and re-booking your companion's (as in Companion Pass holder) return flight on a totally different flight. And as you're leaving Cancun, the desk agent says that your companion's return flight left hours earlier!! Yes my wife was booked as my companion the whole time and in their schedule change, they put her on a completely different return flight. It never occurred to me to watch out for something like that since she's my document companion. Luckily, the agent was able to re-book her on the 3:40pm flight I was on.

My wife and I got CP (on my card) within 3 weeks of receiving the card number. It was really easy, but we just made everyday purchases and paid the card off by the time the bill came. Also, immediately after being approved, I asked Chase to expedite my card as we were leaving town in a couple of days, and I wanted the card for our spending.

In haste, I went ahead and applied for a Southwest Rapid Rewards Plus card shortly after I received the literature in the mail today. How good is this deal? I just realized that some of you are getting 3 points per $1 for non-Southwest purchase so it looks like not a great deal in the long run for me but great for the short term as we exclusively use our credit card for all purchases and pay off the balance each month. Because of that, $5k should be easily attainable. Earn Companion Pass through 2/28/2022 plus 30,000 points after you spend $5000 on purchases in the first 3 months. 2 points per dollar for Southwest purchases 1 point per dollar for all others.

This is an FYI to anyone who comes across this or is interested.. I ended up reaching out to support via Twitter and they responded with the following: "Thank you for your patience. After taking a further look into your reservation and reaching to our Technology Team, there seems to be a known error within our systems that is causing travel funds expiration date to decrease each time you make a change......." Watch those expiration dates a little more closely, folks!

So basically they reached all the way back to my Montego Bay reservation that I made on November 21, 2018. The funds are still expiring a day or two early. As a matter of fact, the confirmation on original booking says they Expire on Nov 21 2019. The travel funds lookup tool says Nov 19. My flight on Nov 19 leaves around 7 AM that morning and gets in at 8:30 AM I might call. I don't want to lose $25 over 1 day lol

On August 7, 2019 I booked two one-way tickets for my fiance and I from Memphis to Fort Lauderdale using $164 in travel funds for each ticket (from a cancelled June 5, 2019 booking) + $23 cash each . Why do the travel funds from the August booking expire on November 19, 2019 (per the confirmation email)?? I thought travel funds were good for a year. Additionally, if they expire on November 19, why could I not use those funds toward a trip I booked last night for Nov 16-19? During booking it told me that I couldn't use them because they expire before the trip is complete.
