Southwest is being incredibly greedy and money hungry right now instead of showing compassion for everyone. They should be rewarding responsible customers who are not traveling during this time. Now, they want to penalize responsible citizens by not showing any mercy to the travel fund policy that WE ALEADY PAID for when we choose southwest. Customers do not just choose airlines because they have a cute logo. We choose our airline based on what they offer. They are acting like they didn't just suck us in with their policy only to hang us dry during these difficult times. I am allowed to share my opinion so there.

I have emailed those customer service robots many times and they keep giving me the same robotic answer. Southwest airlines is proving themselves day after day to be money hungrey, ignorant, and do not care for their customers as demonstrated by their continued lack of compassion for those of us who are responsibly not traveling. They do not seem to comprehend what a pandemic is. They need someone to sit them down and break it down for them S L O W L Y because they are clearly just not getting it. Hopefully they educate themselves and act responsibly soon. It's crazy how ignorant they are of the fact that it is nearly impossible for us to use our travel funds by the expiration date without an extension and that the "1 year" we were promised is cut short by a global pandemic. Heartless Ignorance and stupidity should be their new motto.

southwest airlines has proven themselves to be inflexible and unaccomdating during this difficult time. They do not care about their customers, so don't expect anything from them. They are greedy money hungry selfish monkeys who will just recite company policy to you like a robot monkey with no heart. They are not able to use their brain and actually comprehend what a pandemic means. they are not honoring the 1 year policy if that year is cut short by us being responsible citizens and not flying during a GLOBAL PANDEMIC. Also, they don't recognize we are hard working americans and a lot of us saved up our travel funds for spring break. No one could predict that due to a global pandemic we wouldn't be able to use what we were saving funds for. Although some people could have traveled earlier, maybe they were saving up for spring break? We all have jobs, we all work. We have limited times of the year we can use our travel funds, and when those critical times are clouded by a GLOBAL EMERGENCY, i don't think southwest can say "well you had a year". that is a cowardly cop out and ignorant and and insult to all of us who are taking this pandemic seriously. Southwest needs to step up and take this seriously too.

NO mercy, no extension of travel funds. We are in a state of emergency and they have yet to make any extensions on our travel funds. Just because we do not want to risk our health and the well being and health of our loved ones in this pandemic doesn't mean we should be penalized for it. Wish someone from southwest would understand that we have already paid for the service of having 1 year travel funds. WE paid for it when we choose southwest. They are acting like they are doing us a favor by even offering it, well that is how they got me as a customer because there cheaper airlines out there but I choose to pay for the flexibility. They need to honor what they promised. They need to step up and be a good example because right now they are far from.

I have written to them twice, but they don't seem to show any understanding or compassion whatsoever and their lack of concern is ridiculous. They don't care about their customers as much as they claim to. hey everyone, we all need to call out southwest on all social media to bring to account on how greedy and unreasonable they are being for not extending our travel funds. A lot of us hardworking americans only have limited dates we can vacation, and it is obvious that this global pandemic is cutting that 1 year time frame gaurentee that we were promised and that we paid for and is the reason we choose southwest is being cut short. The fact that a lot of us are trying to be responsible citizens and we are BEING PUNISHED for it instead of REWARDED by southwest airlines is blasphemy. The lack of compassion and concern this company has for this pandemic has made me loose all respect for what used to be in my eyes the best airline. now, instead of flying southwest, i will deliberately drive or use another airline. They lost a loyal customer today. I will do everything in my power to avoid and call them out on all social media for the rest of time until they come to their senses and show some compassion instead of living in hipocracy. Treated with horrible customer service. NO understanding. NO compassion. Southwest airlines does not understand that we PAY EXTRA in order to fly with them due to them attracting us with their flexible policy. There are plenty of airlines that are cheaper than them, but I pay the price for southwest because of the 1 year travel fund policy. They don't understand this is a service we pay for, and that a global pandemic cuts short that 1 year flexibility that we were owed and promised when we bought a ticket. They don't understand that by us being responsible citizens and not flying, they are punishing us for that. This is so wrong it should be criminal of them.
